Apartment Above Stark Industries, Valentine's Day

There wasn't a massive stuffed animal or way, way too many flowers waiting for Steve in the apartment this year. If only because Tony had learned his lesson about those. Kind of.

He hadn't learned his lesson about making reservations at places that Steve could never, ever learn the real price tag of.

And there were still just a few dozen roses in hiding for when Steve finished getting ready to go. Look, he was doing his best at being restrained here!

"Patience is a virtue," Tony muttered, rolling his hips in a way that probably tested Steve's self control.

Steve dug his heels into the bed and groaned. "Not really--"

"How about--" Tony stuttered, repeating the movement over and over again to enjoy how good Steve felt around him. "--how about we make a deal. Cuffs or ring."

Good call, Tony. The cuffs were definitely straining right now.

"Ring," said the stubborn idiot.

"Ring it is," Tony murmured, taking his time in unfastening those cuffs as he continued to move.

Steve's wrists had bruised from his struggles, but he didn't care at all because now he could touch Tony again.

"Better, sweetheart?" Tony muttered, immediately kissing him.

"So much better," Steve said, scratching along Tony's spine.

Tony groaned, pinning him more firmly against the bed as he hiked Steve's legs up around his waist to fuck him how he wanted to.

Steve moaned loudly, almost close to clawing Tony's back in reply. "Just like that--"

"Are you going to be good for me?" Tony panted in his ear. "Good enough to take the ring off?"

"So good," Steve promised vehemently.

"Almost there," he promised back, bitinh at the meat of his shoulder to muffle the groans as he moved faster.

"Harder," Steve begged. "Not gonna break me--"

The bed, maybe...

"Harder?" Tony asked breathlessly. He shifted forward, holding onto Steve's hips tight enough to leave some marks in order to give him just what he'd asked for.

The poor wall behind that headboard wasn't going to survive at this rate.

"Perfect," Steve gasped, reaching up to give Tony's hair a good yank.

The ring was maddening but he focused on Tony instead of himself--it was why he'd wanted the cuffs off. He wasn't good at not being able to do anything.

It was cruel to put on him, but at least he could be assured that a reward would follow?

Tony groaned against his throat, driving into him with short, desperate little movements before he finally came with a wordless little noise.

"There you go," Steve murmured, turning his yank into petting. "God, you're perfect."

"Tha's you," Tony slurred, trying to catch his breath for a moment. He wasn't a super soldier, okay?

Steve cuddled Tony against his chest, panting hard.

"You're," Tony started to say, giving it up to kiss his neck. "You."

He was getting there slowly!

"Ring. Lemme--"

"Please," Steve whispered, stroking Tony's back.

"So good," Tony muttered, moving down Steve's body to carefully pull it off him.

Steve was already on a hair-trigger, but Tony's hand and the praise was enough to have him come hard enough to white out for a moment.

And make a huge, huge mess.

Well. The mess was going to be a given.

Tony blinked owlishly, casually wiping his hand on the sheets as he glanced up at Steve. "Next time we need to do this in a shower."
