Central Park, NYC - Tuesday Evening

So Steve was back to normal, but that didn't stop him from wanting to go on a walk. And what better place to go walking and enjoy the tail end of summer than to head on back to New York for a date night?

Okay, so maybe there were plenty of other places that didn't involve the heat or the faint summer scent of garbage. But they were New Yorkers and therefore in New York, smell and all. At least they probably didn't have to worry about any kind of alien invasions.

Steve smiled at him. "I don't want you to burn yourself."

Tony hummed, searching for the robes for after in the meantime. "Lobster."

"No, I ordered dessert," Steve teased.

Tony laughed and flicked his ear playfully. "Very clever, very clever."

Steve tilted his head up, asking for a kiss. "I try."

A kiss he was gladly given. "Now. Is it cool enough for me?"

"Nothing is cool enough for you," Steve teased, "but the water's fine now."

Tony bit at his bottom lip before carefully joining him in the still sreaming hot tub. It was just barely manageable.

"Is it still too hot?" Steve asked, looking worried.

"I'll live," Tony hissed, for sure turning red as he adjusted and leaning back against the other end of the tub slowly.

"Don't hurt yourself," Steve said, frowning worriedly.

"Not all of us are made of teflon," he teased, relaxing after a moment.

Steve smirked at him. "I just like to be warm."

Several decades in the North Atlantic would do that.
