Ballroom of Stark Towerlet, Saturday Afternoon

So, maybe the whole getting Steve up to speed on roller skating in the ballroom wasn't the best plan. But ice skating was happening without a lot of hot chocolate being provided, so there they were.

And now Steve had a sprained wrist that he was downplaying like his last name was actually Stark or something. Which was rude. Sure, it'd heal with record speed and all, but the principle of the matter!

"Are you sure we don't need to go to the clinic? Or maybe just get Don?"

Steve gazed back, smiling softly. "You like what you see?"

"With you?" Tony asked, tilting his head for a kiss. "Always."

Steve kissed him back. "I love you."

Tony forgot all about the bottle as he moved down onto his forearms to keep kissing him. Because clearly Steve needed it.

Just Steve.

"Still here," Steve said, "and so are you."

This got very sweet despite the complete lack of choloate-licking.

They could always get back to that later!

"Maybe I'm just enjoying the moment for a change," Tony murmured.

"I encourage that," Steve said with another soft kiss.

"Why thank you for the affirmation," he had to tease.

"You need them," Steve said softly.

"Only as much as you do too," Tony replied, flushing maybe a little.

Steve leaned in to nudge his nose against Tony's. "You don't hear it enough."

"Plenty of people might disagree with you there," Tony replied.

"None that know you well," Steve said, kissing him.

"That so?" Tony asked much too lightly to be an actual joke.

Steve smiled up into Tony's eyes. "That's so," he replied earnestly.

Tony had to look away, but he was grinning at least. "Well, I'll take your word on it.

Steve reached up to turn Tony's head back. "You'll listen to me tell you that you're wonderful, and you'll believe me," he said softly.

"I believe you." He just got antsy about it. Look how antsy he got!

Steve gave him another soft, slow kiss. "Because I don't lie."

"Remind me of that periodically, alright?" Tony asked.

"I'll remind you all the time," Steve said, kissing him between the eyes.

"Thank you," Tony said maybe a touch too honestly.

Steve cradled Tony's face between his hands. "You are the very best thing in my life," he said quietly.

Hopefully Steve accepted a kiss as a proper response to that because look. Look. You went and sad things like that to him and he couldn't use words.

Steve was thrilled to get kissed like this any time, Tony, He moaned softly, rolling his hips.
