Apartment Above Stark Industries, Saturday Afternoon

The storm outside had knocked out the power, but Tony had worked hard on having reduncancies in place for his lab and the apartment.

Sadly that didn't seem to matter when Fandom was being Fandom, so he was bundled up in a winter coat as he worked on converting a lamp into a space heater. It was at 1.0, so there was still room for improvement there. Possibly five different iterations before he would be satisfied with what he'd made.

"It's supposed to be spring," he muttered under his breath angrily.

Steve smiled softly. "And that's why I spoil you. Because I love you, too."

Tony ducked his face in against Steve's shoulder like he couldn't handle him. Because he seriously couldn't.

Steve was gradually figuring out that particular tell of Tony's, which was why he stopped whatever else he was doing and gave him a tight hug.

Tony made a pleased noise at that, hugging him back. "Eat. You need the energy."

Also, he was so into you right now, Steve.

Steve chuckled at that. "Planning to warm me up again, love?"

"I could." So, yes. Yes, a lot for being so romantic.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "I won't say no," he said. "Check on the waffles? They should be done. The bacon's gonna take a bit longer."

"Let's try to keep from burning it," he said, trying not to smile at the blush.

“ Not again,” Steve agreed, running his fingers through his hair.

Tony leaned in for another kiss, enjoying his touch before going to check on the waffles for him.

“Love you more than bacon,” Steve said, grinning.

Tony laughed at that, hip-checking him as he got the waffles out. "True love, huh?"

Steve gave him a completely goofy smile in return. “Something like that.”

"Sounds as close as we will ever get in this world," Tony said with another kiss on the cheek.

“God, I love you,” Steve blurted.

Tony's eyes softened and his smile went small and private. "Feeling's mutual."

Steve pressed a kiss into Tony's forehead, being about as domestic as possible. “Good,” he said earnestly.

"Bacon, dear. I want you well fed so we can have uninterrupted cuddling."

Sure. 'Cuddling'.

“We're calling it cuddling now, huh?” Steve teased.

"Until the bedroom warms up, it'll be cuddling." Then it would be 'cuddling'.

Steve grinned at him as he hipchecked him out of the way of the bacon. “That seems very reasonable.”

"That way I can keep you warm and happy," Tony said with a nod, pouring an ungodly amount of syrup on their waffles.

“It's almost sad how amazing that sounds to me right now,” Steve chuckled.

"Aww, it's because I'm just such an amazing cuddler," Tony said as he pressed a plate of food into his hands.

“You are an incredible cuddler,” Steve agreed, biased man that he was.
