Tony was somehow still cleaning up after the party, frowning at the disturbing collection of chip flavors leftover from it.

"Maybe Kitty would like them?" he muttered to himself. Pregnant women were supposed to have odd cravings, right?

"Backrubs and brain melting," he teased. "A guy could get used to this."

"It's part of my evil plan to get you to keep me around," Steve said.

"Oh, then I support it wholeheartedly," Tony said, stretching up for a kiss

"Thought you might," Steve murmured, kissing him softly.

"Aren't we a pair?" Tony asked, staying close for another soft, fleeting kiss.

"We are," Steve said, stroking Tony's cheek again.

Tony kissed him again, smiling into it. That's what you get for making him happy, Steve. That's just what you get.

And Steve was absolutely on board with a happy, open Tony.

He kissed him back, idly playing with the hair on the nape of his neck.

"Remind me to think of this next time I get stressed, will you?" Tony asked lazily, relaxing fully against him.

"Mmm, an excuse to take you to bed," Steve said with a smirk. "How will I manage?"

"The closeness, you cad," Tony muttered, laughing despite himself.

Steve grinned at him. "I know, but it usually takes a bit of effort to get you this relaxed, love."

"Sorry," Tony replied, turning his face in toward Steve's neck.

"Not a criticism," Steve murmured, stroking Tony's hair. "I'm honored to get to see it."

"I'll return the favor," he promised readily.

"You do," Steve said, kissing him softly. "I'm not much for talking about...things, but you manage to draw it out of me."

"Easier to listen than it is to talk sometimes, huh?" Tony murmured against his lips.

"Much," Steve agreed. "Helps that you're way more interesting, too."

"So not true," Tony said with a quick laugh that was nearly startled out of him.

"Of course it is," Steve said, smiling at him.

[imafuturist]

"You are way more interesting," Tony replied. "I just ramble about math half the time."

"I like listening to you ramble," Steve said. "I learn things."

"And I like listening to you too," Tony assured him. "Less math there and more history."

"Because I'm very, very old," Steve murmured. "Sort of."

"Nearly a hundred now," he teased gently. "I think that means I'm your boytoy."
