A Private Villa That Totally Cost Too Much, Amalfi Coast, Italy - Sunday Morning

Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

"Please don't," Steve said, laughing.

"Can I write 'Property of Tony Stark' instead?" he asked, nipping at Steve's shoulder.

"Only if I can tattoo my name on your ass," Steve teased.

"Tempting, tempting," Tony laughed. "They say that's the kiss of death for a relationship."

"Only if I misspell it," Steve said.

"There's a D in your last name, right?"

"And a ph is the first," he said, nodding.

"I'm sure you can mark me up in better ways than that." Tony was utterly unrepentant in his flirting.

"Oh, probably," Steve said, laughing. "Would you like those now?"

"After we nap out here," Tony said, hiding a yawn against his shoulder. "Feel free to wake me up that way."

"A nap in the middle of the day," Steve said. "How decadent."

His eyes had drifted closed, too, though.

"This vacation is all about decadence." If Steve couldn't tell from the villa.

"I'm starting to figure that out," Steve said softly.

"I get to spoil you all I want," Tony said with a sleepy little sigh.

"And I'll let you," Steve said, kissing Tony's head again. "But only here."

"I'll hold you to that," Tony replied, kissing his neck like it was a binding promise.
