JARVIS and the Mouse overlord had pushed some older movies up into Steve's List of Things to Watch to Understand Tony's References. Though some of them may have just been added because healthy levels of strife were good for the soul.

"Couldn't we watch that new Space Battles show?" Tony asked, concerned for Steve's taste levels here.

"Well, it's not the one who can cook," he teased.

Steve gave him a fake glare. "I'm the one with extreme patience, then."

He wasn't that, either.

"Oh, really?"

"Comparatively?" Steve tried.

Tony's eyebrows just went up a little more as he tried not to smile.

Steve wrinkled his nose up at him. "Shush, you."

Tony laughed, kissing him om the nose for that. "You're the pretty one, don't worry."

Steve smiled earnestly at him. "You take my breath away."

"It's all my charm," he murmured into the next kiss.

"Part of it's also your eyes," Steve replied.

"My eyes?" Tony asked with a quiet laugh.

[heroic_jawline]

"You have the most expressive eyes," Steve murmured. "You can be spinning a show with words--and you do--but I watch your eyes."

Tony glanced away like that was too much before looking back at him. "Well, I guess you're the real charmer."

Steve ran his fingers through Tony's hair soothingly, recognizing that little tic of Tony's for what it was. "Nah. I just know you."

"That you do," Tony replied softly.

Steve tilted Tony's chin up, smiling. "Then let me see your eyes, sweetheart."

"Pushy," he murmured, meeting Steve's eyes. His eyes always did give just about everything away, didn't they?

Steve's smile deepened. "There you are."

Tony could hardly help but smile back, leaning in to kiss him again. "Why'd you have to be so observant?"

"I'm not always," Steve said, running his fingers along Tony's spine. "But I love watching you."

"Do you now?" he asked, arching forward into him.

[heroic_jawline]

Steve's smile turned a little shy. "Not just when you're putting on the Tony Stark show, love of mine."

Tony froze for a moment before melting into him again with a kiss. "You are too much."

Steve rested his hand on the small of Tony's back. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, no," Tony replied immediately. "Not at all. I just don't deserve you at all."
