Avengers Compound, Upstate New York - Monday

Instead of Steve going back to the compound on Monday morning by himself, Tony had joined him this time around. Even if it was just for a day, it was nice to get a little extra time together.

Also to see the play now that they'd all had more of a chance to settle in.

"The dog is going to get lost here," Tony warned him as he took off like a rocket to explore the new building the moment he was set down.

"Well, only one of us cuddles with you," Tony agreed readily.t

"Because it would get a little awkward otherwise," Steve said, slinging his arm around Tony and pulling him close.

Tony kissed him for that, thoroughly uncoordinated, but very fond.

"Get a room!" Clint yelled, throwing a piece of popcorn at them.

"Don't give us ideas," Tony replied glancing away from Steve with a flirtatious little smirk.

Steve blushed bright red. "Right. I think on that, we're done here. Have fun, everyone."

Well that is definitely not going to give them ideas, Steve.

Which was why Tony was snickering against Steve's shoulder and being no help at all in getting them to his room.

"Well, that was subtle," Steve teased, taking three tries to get his door open.

"Not my fault," Tony informed him, pressing a kiss to Steve's neck in a way that did not help with the concentration on opening the door at all.

Steve moaned softly, closing his eyes. "FRIDAY, please alert me if anyone tries to fly anything or jump from more than two stories, okay? Or if Thor shows up. Or something wants to end the world. Otherwise, I'm busy."

Tony hummed, crowding in against Steve as much as he was able to, arms around Steve's middle to cling to him. "Very good reasons."

Steve finally got the door open and pulled them both inside, laughing a little self-consciously. "Thank you."

"I like you all--squiffy--right?" Tony said breathlessly, tottering on after him so he wouldn't have to let go.

Steve leaned in to kiss him. "I have heard that."

"What can I say?" Tony murmured into that kiss. "You're cute like this."

"I thought I was always cute," Steve said, crowding Tony up against the door.

"Oh, is that so?" Tony asked, sounding more than pleased by this move.

"That's what you've said," Steve said, reaching out to capture Tony's wrists in one hand and press them above his head. "Am I wrong?"

"No, not wrong," Tony said, now just utterly breathless and flushed as he looked up at Steve.

Steve's breath caught as he looked back. "You're gorgeous. Can't believe I get to keep you."

"Still think I'm the lucky one here," he replied.

Steve leaned in and kissed him. Thoroughly.

Tony strained against the grip on his wrists, but mostly because he wanted to touch him as he kissed back with as much intensity as he could manage.

Steve nipped hard on Tony's lower lip. "Something you need, dearest?"

"You," Tony groaned. "Just you."
