The Lab Beneath Stark Industries, Saturday Morning

Tony hadn't noticed that anything was off as of yet. Probably because the dog was with Steve on his morning run rather than being a plucky animal sidekick.

And the robots weren't that different from normal in how they acted around him.

At least, he didn't notice it right away. Once he got to the lab and saw that the armor was actual armor as in knightly armor, he was sighing and trying to decide what this all was. Of course, that was interrupted as he accidentally pricked his finger on the edge of the armor with an, "Ouch." and then very suddenly passed out in a very dramatic fashion.

Because of course he did. Hopefully no one needed to defeat a dragon to wake him up or anything.

Steve had come back in from his run looking...exactly the same. Being sweaty was for other, non-children shows. "And after this," Patriot was saying, sounding exactly like Josh Gad, "we'll get treats. You promised, Steve. You promised."

"I did," Steve agreed, grinning his Disney grin and tossing his perfect Disney hair (which he always had, let's be honest). "Tony, do you need breakfast?" he asked, poking his head into the lab. "It's the most important meal of the--Tony?! Tony!"

Well, this wasn't overreacting at all.

Did the robots really need to construct a glass coffin of some sort? No. But it was all Disney, all the time, baby. And they were mixing up the movies a little.

But there Tony lay, all still as death and the like.

Well, the robots were very quick in their work there. Or they had a coffin ready, just in case, but that was morbid and un-Disney.

"No!" Steve said, weeping photogenically as he went over to hug the coffin and sing a sad, sad song about their love.

Patriot provided accompaniment.

"Perhaps he is merely enchanted!" Steve said aloud so that the kids at home could follow the logic. "Maybe I should see if True Love's Kiss works!"

Probably not. It's really early in the set-up here, Steve.

Give it a whole long day before it could work. You had to build the suspense up, you know. Maybe figure out a villain or something like that.

Tony remained as he was, unable to wake because of this terrible curse.

"Oh, this terrible curse!" Steve cried helpfully and overdramatically. "I will save you! Or Avenge you!"

Get it? DO YOU GET IT?

He reached for his shield, helpfully and overdramatically backlit on the wall. "Come on, Patriot! Let's fix this!"
