The moment their class was finished, Tony had practically dragged Steve back to their apartment in order to make up for the time away.

"Next time, you get vacation during this week," Tony murmured into the kiss he pulled Steve into immediately.

Steve stripped off his clothes because he knew what kind of day this was turning into and gave Tony a shy little smile. "I've heard that once or twice."

Tony sprawled a little more, wincing as he struggled out of his pants where they were caught up on one leg still. "God, I can't believe we did that," he said with a laugh.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "I got a little carried away," he admitted.

Steve put the salve down and leaned in to kiss Tony again. "I'm glad to hear that," he murmured sincerely.

"I love you so much," Steve said, nipping Tony's lower lip.

"Love you too," Tony replied, happily wrapping his arms around Steve to keep him close.

Steve trailed lazy kisses along Tony's neck. "So. Does home renovation prove I missed you?"

"Oh, immensely so," he teased, running his hands down Steve's back.

Steve sighed happily. "Flip over," he said. "Massage and first aid time."

"Yes, dearest," Tony said with one more hungry kiss before obeying.

Steve peppered kisses along Tony's shoulder blades, then slowly traced down his back, searching for bruising.

Tony let out a sigh, pressing his forehead into the bed for a moment before trying to glance back at Steve. "You treat me so well."

Steve nipped down gently. "I treat you like you should be treated," he said softly.

That caused Tony to let out another sigh, but it had a shaky, shivery quality to it. "Think that's just a you thing."

"That's a real shame, if so," Steve murmured, rubbing the salve into Tony's back.

Tony hummed at the cool salve, followed by warm hands. "Worth it for you."

The warm hands started getting followed by even warmer lips as the first aid gave way to a regular massage.

"I missed your hands all week," he admitted. "I almost got a portal to visit."

"I am always glad to see you," Steve said, kissing the small of Tony's back.

"Your teammates less so," he teased, melting against the bed as he relaxed under Steve's ministrations.

"It might be because of the noises you make when I do this," Steve teased back, moving his mouth south.
