After taking their class here for a museum trip, it was only reasonable to give Steve that date he wanted. Also, it wasn't Olive Garden. A place that made Tony shudder involuntarily.

That whole mention could be blamed on that last bit of weirdness.

"I've heard good things about this place," Tony said, hurrying along the street to the resturant in question.

"Of course," Steve said with a smile.

"My hero," Tony said brightly.

Steve leaned in for a soft, quick kiss. "That's all it takes?"

"Well, I plan on bringing a bottle back with us to the hotel and I don't want anyone taking it on the way," Tony murmured, kissing him back.

"Oh, so we're on the same page about dessert," Steve said, cheeks going pink.

"We really are," Tony replied, letting it color his voice.

Steve's cheeks went even pinker. "Let's get the wine and head back to the hotel."

Tony laughed and gestured for the bill. "Yes, darling."

Steve chuckled. "Do I seem too eager?" he asked.

"For my liking?" Tony asked. "Never."

Steve's blush increased again. "It's not my fault that you're such a catch."

Tony's smile only widened at all of that. "Well, I'm very glad to be caught."

Steve grinned back. "Where are we staying again?"

"It was pretty last minute, but JARVIS got us a room at the Aman."

Totally just a last minute thing. Like getting a room at a Motel 6!

"Which one is that?" Steve asked, definitely thinking something like a Marriott.

Because Steve.

Tony laughed and tugged him along toward a palatial white building on the water. "I think I've been here once before."

He thought. Maybe.

"You don't remember?!"

[imafuturist]

"I've stayed a lot of places!" Look, it was Tony.

"This one is a palace!" Steve stammered. "On the canal!"

"It's fine," Tony insisted. "You'll like it."

"It looks much better than just fine," Steve said. "Thank you. It looks really swell."

"We've got one of the suites," Tony added. "I'm certain it'll have a great view of the canal to wake up to."

"That sounds absolutely decadent," Steve said with a smile. "Perfect."

"We're checking in late, so let's hurry up."

And then Tony could have clothing delivered to them first thing in the morning.

"You just want to get into the room," Steve teased, smiling as he blushed.
