Somewhere warm and 'please don't buy another building, Tony' had been the two stipulations for Valentine's Day this year. One was easy and the other was just rude.

Because there went any plans to buy Steve a castle.

So, Tony thought on places they had not gone yet and then JARVIS finally picked a resort after Tony went through one too many spreadsheets of potential locations. Because JARVIS was a peach like that.

"So, how do you like it?" Tony asked, looking out at the ocean from their private villa.

Pepper would sigh and delete it immediately. Just immediately.

"That's a good place for it," Steve agreed. Because he trusted Pepper. "Now eat."

"I'm eating!" He was grazing, really. Apparently being back in the lab did that to him.

Steve smiled again. "I just want you around as long as possible."

Tony gave him a look that was pleasantly surprised and more than a little fond. "Duly noted."

Steve reached out to give Tony's hand a squeeze. He knew to tread carefully when it was earnest, honest emotions and to give Tony a second to process.

Tony leaned in to kiss him for it. Because that was far easier than words.

Steve rested his hand against Tony's cheek, stroking softly as he kissed back. "You are so loved," he murmured.

"I am very glad to have met you," Tony said, pulling Steve in to bump his forehead against his.

"I'd've been lost," Steve admitted softly.

And Tony had seen a tailspin.

"None of that. Not again." Neither of them were allowed.

Steve kissed him softly. "I love you."

"I love you too," Tony murmured into that kiss.

"Eat a little more, then we can get back to what we were doing before we got interrupted," Steve suggested.

Tony laughed and kissed him one more time. "That sounds like a plan."

"I'm known for my strategy," Steve said, nodding.

"The man with the plan." Tony, no!

"If you sing the song, you will not get a blowjob the rest of the week," Steve threatened.

Tony mimed zipping his lips for that. Because that was a harsh punishment indeed.

Tony gasped with faux shock. "Who would say that about me? I'll sue them."

"Call my lawyers," Tony said, raising his fork like it would do that for him.
