Tony shot up, one hand immediately going to his now perfectly normal chest before registering where he was.

"Time'z'it?" he mumbled, pressing the heel of his hand against the bridge of his nose stabilize the pounding in his head as he quickly silenced all the data feeds surging in at once. Again, no clue how natural telepaths lived like this all the time.

"It is currently 1:26 P.M. Eastern standard time," JARVIS supplied helpfully.

He untangled himself from the throw blanket and sat up on the couch to glare at where Fox News was still quietly playing on the TV. Because Tony was a masochist.

Ugh, naps were simultaneously the best and worst things in the world.

"Good point," Steve said. "The list has been getting pretty long."

The only thing worse was a competitive game of Monopoly. Say goodbye to your entire evening, everyone.

"Well, what else is on it?"

Steve pulled out his little notebook. "Um. The Berlin Wall, disco, JFK assassination theories, Motown, Space Battles--"

"Disco is dead, I'm not sorry to say," Tony chimed in helpfully. "And Space Battles is on the movie list. We're watching them in release order."

Because that's the way God intended, damn it.

"Is Disco a person?" Steve asked.

"It's a saying. 'Disco is dead.'" Tony, just let it go. "No, it's a music style. And dancing. Very seventies."

And thank god hipsters hadn't brought that back.

Steve wrinkled his nose up. "It's bad?"

"Well," Tony said, struggling to not just say yes to that. "I'm not a fan of it. Give me rock and roll any day."

And the pop music Jan tended to infect everyone with.

Well, Justin Timberlake was a triple threat with acting, dancing and singing.

"I'll try it since it seemed important to the person who told me," Steve said because of course he did.

At least it wasn't Nickelback. Steve, if you like Nickelback, Tony was giving up all hope for your universe.

"Oh?" Tony raised his eyebrows, not really able to stifle the curiosity.

Steve shrugged. "She recognized me in one of the Smithsonian exhibits. When I told her I was trying to catch up a bit, she told me I had to try disco. And a couple of movies."

This time Tony didn't try to stifle an only moderately mocking, "Awwww."

"Just let JARVIS know and he can get you any movie you need." Which might help with those sleepless nights.

"For now, I'll stick to the cartoons," Steve said. "Unless I should wait and watch those with you?"

Tony paused, expression going a little blank as he shuffled through his schedule and everything going on back home with Extremis. He blinked a few times to clear his mind from that before responding. "I'll mark any I want to see too?" he suggested.

Steve nodded, smiling shyly. "Sounds like a good idea."
