Stark Mini-Tower of Healthy Emotional Choices, Wednesday Afternoon

So, Tony and Steve hadn't actually talked since everything. Mostly because Steve was busy resting and recovering and Tony was working. Things needed to be disposed of, structural damage repaired, possible financial changes arranged.

Normal, reasonable things!

He wasn't catastrophizing, you were catastrophizing. And just giving Steve time and space to process things. Yes. That was it exactly.

While in one of the rooms Steve didn't go into very often. It was fine.

Steve finally pulled away, spit-shiny and pleased with himself. "Yes, Tony?"

"God... please?" Oh, and the begging. He enjoyed that too, right?

"It won't hurt you?" Steve checked softly.

"Steve." Tony gave him a look like he might just go insane if he didn't get more of that.

"Okay, just checking," Steve said with a tiny grin in reply. "Hold onto something."

The sofa was doomed.

Look, it was just them stress testing their furniture for any sort of attack on the building! Yes.

Tony let out a relieved breath, reaching up to hold onto the arm of the poor, poor couch that didn't deserve any of this.

"I love you," Steve said, sliding in slowly and watching Tony's face for any signs of pain.

"God---love you," Tony babbled, eyes closed in concentration. It was more intense than they normally did, but it wasn't painful at least.

And somewhere inside where neither of them would address it out loud, Steve knew that Tony was looking for a little bit of punishment, and so Steve wasn't being precious about things today. He set a fast tempo with enough force behind it that the sofa was making small groans of protest.

Tony was a hot mess, but still somehow better than he once was. So this honestly could be considered growth for him.

He whined, gripping the arm of the couch tight enough to add to those noise from it. But nothing would be better than having a slight hitch in his step for the following day as a reminder of Steve. At least not right now.

"I've got you," Steve murmured. "Let go for me."

"Steve--" Tony whined, head thrown back as he let the sensation carry him to a faster completion than he'd normally like. Even with as much build up as he'd gotten.

"There you go--" Steve crooned.

The couch made a distressed noise beneath them, but Tony was completely oblivious to it in the moment. Especially with Steve still needing to join him there.

Steve moaned and pushed harder. That poor sofa.

Something cracked and Tony was clutching at Steve's shoulders to not, you know, topple over the edge of the couch as the arm came loose and thumped on the floor. Which was a lot.
