Ballroom of Stark Mini Tower, Friday Afternoon

JARVIS had notified Tony that something was happening in the ballroom today. And after several assurances that it was non-threatening, Tony made his way there with a cup of coffee in hand. All of that to find out the entire floor had turned into a ball pit.

Yes, balls flooded into the elevator once he stopped on the floor. And yes, it was a mess.

"This is going to be annoying to clean up," Tony sighed, trying his best to wade through the balls.

"You're helping clean this up!" With god magic or something.

"Indeed," Thor agreed. "I am helping." And he threw another ball at Tony. See? Helping. The ball had been removed from the floor.

That it was now on the floor again was irrelevant.

Tony maturely, responsibly, calmly... threw one back at him.

The ball bounced off Thor's chestplate and fell amongst its fellows before Thor picked it up and tossed it back at Tony. "Have at thee!"

Tony snorted and attempted to keep up, but c'mon now. This wasn't his oeuvre.

"Did you cause this or is it just the island being... whimsical?"

"Verily, my command of the weather now extends to manifesting hundreds--nay, thousands--of plastic balls indoors," Thor said dryly, so Tony could hear how silly that sounded.

I mean, you also have the Odinforce, Don pointed out helpfully, like a helper. If it could make a me it could probably also make a bunch of plastic balls.

Thor would just be ignoring that point.

"I am going to point out that it's magic," Tony said, holding up a finger in protest. "Which would involve plastic ball hail. It feels like a Florida thing."

"I have nothing to do with Florida," Thor pointed out, because ew, Tony. Florida? "Perhaps the island merely felt that the ballroom needed to be more literal."

Well, Tony couldn't fault the latter, but the former...

"So your weather thing stops in Florida?"

Look, sometimes you just had to joke about things. For reasons.

Thor did not deign to answer such a silly question in words.

Instead, he answered by throwing another ball at Tony's head.

"It's for science, Thor!"

Thor summoned up a gust of wind to pelt Tony with several balls at once. "You and your science!"

It was his thing, okay! It was his thing.

"Cheater!"

"I am using the resources I have available," Thor corrected with great dignity.
