Rockafeller Center Christmas Tree - NYC - Sunday Afternoon

Well, it had felt necessary to do the tourist thing and go look at the tree with the mass of people leading up to the holiday. The urge to do this was quickly passing as they were in the moment of it.

Mostly because it was too cold for Steve and too crowded for the both of them. But it was a pretty tree at least. The lone upside to the whole afternoon here.

"We can say we saw it now," Tony suggested, arm curled around Steve's and all bundled up in winter gear that was probably too expensive for where they were. Like he was just asking to be pickpocketed or something.

(Joke was on them, he never remembered to carry a wallet because why would he?)

Tony reached up to cup Steve's cheek, enjoying the picture of him like that. Because he was a sap like that sometimes.

Steve leaned into Tony's hand. "Love you."

"Love you too, sweetheart," Tony replied, running his thumb along Steve's cheek.

Steve tilted his face so he could kiss the pad of Tony's thumb.

Which only made Tony's smile turn fonder.

"Gorgeous, gorgeous man."

"You're no slouch yourself," Steve said, rocking his hips.

"Bedside table for supplies," Tony said, letting out a pleased little sigh.

"Another man with a plan," Steve teased, reaching for them.

"Well, I was hoping to get lucky tonight," he teased back.

"You get lucky most nights," Steve said.

"But this is a holiday." Clearly it was different!

Steve laughed. "Do you get something special on a holiday?"

"Well, I think it might be candy cane themed."

Anthony, why?

"Candy cane themed," Steve repeated slowly, staring pointedly between them. "...how?"

Well, that made Tony laugh. "I mean it's supposed to taste like peppermint."

"That makes more sense," Steve admitted.

[imafuturist]

"But if you have other ideas..."

[heroic_jawline]

"I don't think we need to find body paint," Steve said with a grin.
