Penthouse Apartment of the Stark Tower-ish, Monday Evening

Well, Tony was trying to figure out some logistics for things back home while also trying to figure out the logistics of another party here at some point next month. Which honestly just lead to things being mixed up and some supplies meant for the Avengers being delivered here.

Honestly, he brought it on himself for not letting JARVIS handle that.

"No, no, I need it to be picked back up," he said, phone cradled between his ear and shoulder as he typed out something. "Pepper, I know they just dropped it off, but this is the wrong location for it."

And now Pepper was getting in on the judgement of his multitasking skills.

"You should be terrified," Tony said, using a pillow as a shield. They had just too many for this very reason.

"And yet I'm not," Steve sing-songed, throwing more pillows.

Tony laughed, moving to hide behind the couch in a tactical manner before throwing his pillow back. "I'll get you, Captain America!"

"Never!" Steve said in his most Captain America voice. "I stand for truth, justice, and UberEats bringing your meal correctly the first time!"

Well, now Tony was cracking up like a complete lunatic behind the couch. "Did you just say UberEats?"

"Yes, I did," Steve said, still using that voice that he used in PSAs.

Which just set Tony off on another peel of laughter. Because silly Steve was the very best Steve.

Steve leaped onto the sofa and dropped a pillow onto Tony's head.

"Cheater!" Tony gasped. "The couch is a safe space."

Never mind how Tony threw a pillow back at him.

"Since when?" Steve asked, grabbing the pillow and throwing it back.

"Just now," Tony said, dodging it to kiss him.

Steve laughed and kissed him back, reeling him in close. "Cheater."

"Changing tactics," Tony insisted.

"Via cheating," Steve said, kissing a slow trail down Tony's neck. Which might also be considered cheating.

"You're doing the same thing," Tony said, sighing while the noise of a squeaky toy being chewed on happened in the background.

They picked this dog.

"I'm adapting to the new playing field," Steve insisted, nipping down lightly.

"Liar," Tony said with a laugh.

Steve bit down harder. "I don't lie."

"Fibber," he amended playfully.

"Better," Steve said with a little grin.

Tony chuckled as he tugging on Steve's hair for that. "Since we have to head into the city tomorrow, perhaps an early night is called for."

"Is that what we're calling this now?" Steve teased.

Tony considered it.

"Yep."

Steve laughed and kissed him again. "Then I'm very excited to turn in early. Let me take the dog out first."

"Perfect," Tony said with one more kiss. "I'll get food out for him."
