So, this was different. Usually things happened on the weekends, not on Mondays.

Which was why Tony was aggressively sighing as he drank his coffee and looked over his emails and messages.

At least he was prepared with clothing for these days after being here so long. Steve, on the other hand...

"J, let's do a rush order on women's clothing for Steve."

Steve kissed him again. "Macushla," he whispered.

"I hope I'm as attuned to you," Tony murmured into that kiss.

Steve nipped down on Tony's lower lip. "Of course you are. Do you worry?"

"Always," Tony admitted. "I always want to make things the best for you."

Always looking for that approval. You know. Like a healthy person does.

Steve nuzzled Tony's neck. "Anything I can say to make you relax a bit on that?"

"I think that might be a me thing," he admitted, relaxing at the sentiment.

Steve kissed him again. "I am ridiculously, hopelessly, starting-to-realize permanently in love with you," he whispered. "Breathe, sweetheart."

"Breathing," he replied, sighing into the kiss. "Sorry about that."

"Never apologize for it," Steve said, sliding his fingers up through Tony's hair. "I'm more than happy to tell you how good you are for me."

"I'm so head over heels for you," he admitted quietly. "It's stupid of me, isn't it?"

Steve rested his forehead against Tony's. "It's not stupid."

It was a tiny bit, but for reasons that probably needed therapy.

Tony kissed him again for that. "Sweetheart..."

Pfft, therapy was for other, more adjusted non-superheroes.

"Still here," Steve replied.
