JARVIS and the Mouse overlord had pushed some older movies up into Steve's List of Things to Watch to Understand Tony's References. Though some of them may have just been added because healthy levels of strife were good for the soul.

"Couldn't we watch that new Space Battles show?" Tony asked, concerned for Steve's taste levels here.

"Or maybe I tell the truth, so Captain America gets the credit," Steve said with a little smile.

"That sounds much more likely," Tony said softly, cupping his cheek for a kiss.

Steve smiled, a little embarrassed, as he kissed Tony back. "I am glad it's sinking in," he murmured sincerely. "You deserve to know how very loved you are."

"You do as well. So very much," Tony replied with just as much sincerity.

It was a good thing that Tony had taken Steve's takeout box away because Steve was pulling him into his lap for a kiss.

Tony went without any resistance, wrapping his arms around Steve. Nothing in the world could be better than this in the moment.

Steve hugged him tightly, hoping very hard that Patriot would behave himself and not ruin this.

Steve, there was both food and people not giving him the attention he needed. Of course Patriot tried another running leap at the bed.

And then very slowly slid back off the edge as it proved still too high.

"He gets that from you," Tony murmured, hiding his laughter against Steve's shoulder.

"He needs a pair of rocket boots," Steve teased.

"So he can find new things to jump into?" Tony replied, kissing him one more time before leaning over to check on the dog.

"So he doesn't hurt his head on the bed and sofa," Steve said. "Have you seen him try to get onto the sofa? It's hilarious."

"He does his best!" It was super adorable, yes.

"I know he does," Steve said, smiling fondly at the puppy.

The puppy was somehow tangled in an MIT sweatshirt. So. He was living his best life.

"Maybe stairs just for the couch," Tony murmured.

"He'll get bigger," Steve said. "He'll be able to get up on his own eventually."

"God help us then," Tony replied dryly.

"I think he'll still be too short for the bed," Steve offered helpfully.

Tony looked at him, trying not to laugh before it just bubbled out. I think it'll only be worse with kids, you know."

"The sofa sex would probably have to stop," Steve said, looking regretful. "And the kitchen. The lab would be okay, though."

"With locks and safety protocols." Guys, no.

"Better than JARVIS having to warn us," Steve said, laughing and blushing.

"Cockblocked by my own AI," Tony murmured, kissing him for that blush.

Steve blushed harder at that. "That would be awkward," he agreed.

"By then things will have cooled down a little, right?" Probably not with that super soldier drive.

Steve smiled and kissed him. "I'll always want you."
