Memorial Day weekend was rarely great for Steve most of the time. And this year he'd had to keep up the PR appearances the majority of the weekend.

Which was why Tony had gone up to meet him for a de-stressing mini trip before going back to real life.

Why camping had been the plan was a real mystery to everyone involved, but there they were.

"It's really not this difficult," Tony muttered to himself as he assembled the tent. Luckily Steve had taken the dog for a quick walk and couldn't see how perplexing the luxury tent was proving to be.

Steve kissed him again. "I love this part of camping."

"I don't think I can move," Tony said, sighing happily even with that.

Steve laughed. "Sorry."

"You are not," Tony replied, stroking his fingers down Steve's spine as he flopped back.

"I'm a little sorry," Steve said, groping around for a blanket to toss over them.

"You get to pamper me in the morning," Tony murmured, happily cuddling with him now.

"I pamper you every morning," Steve said, smiling.

"It's why I married you," Tony replied, pulling him into a kiss.

Steve kissed him back, keeping it slow. "I knew it."

Slow and lazy was right where Tony was at now, barely able to keep his eyes open after all of that. "Figured me out, darling."

Steve smiled sleepily, pulling back. "Go to sleep, sweetheart."

"Love you," Tony murmured one last time like it was the last thought he had before falling asleep.
