Montreal, Canada - Thursday December 23rd

Once Steve had finished up with his 'loser radio', they had a portal to spend the holiday up in the frigid north. Which might have been an attempt to broaden Steve's horizons or just to avoid any potential lack of coffee thanks to the island.

One of those two was definitely the case.

But now they were in Montreal for a bit of a brisk walk to their hotel.

"Exactly!" Thank you for realizing this, Steve.

"And the food showing up isn't enough of a reward?" Steve asked.

"Depends on how much of it you devour before I can get to it," he teased, glancing over his shoulder now that the fire was roaring.

Steve laughed. "What did you get?"

"Steaks, cake, wine..." As decadent as he could get, really.

Steve gave him a soft smile. "I adore you."

Tony grinned back at him, going to join him as the room warmed back up. "I hope to get you a little squiffy if I can."

"I don't mind being squiffy," Steve said, sliding his arm around Tony's shoulder.

Tony hummed and leaned into him. "Then it's a plan."

Steve tangled his fingers into the hair at the nape of Tony's neck, starting a little massage. "I like plans."

Oh, it was like he was trying his best to keep Tony very distracted.

Tony sighed and let his head fall forward a bit to allow for more of that massage. "Oh, that feels amazing."

"That was the plan," Steve said, chuckling softly.

"A massage is always appreciated," Tony murmured, closing his eyes to enjoy it.

Steve shifted them around so Tony could rest in his lap. "Well, it's the holidays," he said. "It's time to be indulged."

"My hero," Tony replied, completely forgetting that he was supposed to be keeping an ear out for the room service.

They'd just cross that bridge when they came to it.

Steve laughed. "I don't mind when you call me that," he said lightly, continuing with his little head massage.

Tony let out a pleased little sigh. "Well, it's true either way."

Steve dropped a soft kiss on the top of Tony's head. "Love you."

Tony hummed again, leaning back against him for a moment before the moment was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Next time we need to tell them to just leave it outside."

"We'll remember for breakfast," Steve said, chuckling.

Tony twisted in place to kiss him one more time before getting up to secure his robe a little more tightly. "That's assuming you don't take off for a jog in the morning," he teased.

"I'll be back before you even know I'm gone," Steve promised.

"I'll forgive anything if you return with coffee," Tony replied, going to get the cart of food and give the poor employee a tip to not comment on all the love bites.

Tony was wise.

"Of course I'll return with coffee."

Tony blew him an air kiss over the heavily laden cart. "Open the wine, will you?"
