Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

"Never hurts to check," Steve said, running his fingers over the scarf holding Tony down.

Tony gave him an innocent look like he was being very good here. And not at all bossy.

"And what do you want, sweetheart?"

"I want you," Steve said, "and the only thought you can have is about me."

With Tony's enhancements, he knew that was a generally impossible ask.

"I'll do my best," Tony promised. Because it was rare to have no other thoughts running in the background. Even if he wanted them gone.

"All I want to hear," Steve murmured, trying his very best to kiss Tony senseless.

Tony hummed with pleasure, kissing him back with as much force as he could in this position.

"God, you're good at that," Steve murmured.

"A man has to have some talents," Tony said like he didn't have others.

"Sweetheart, your many talents in this room are not why I'm here," Steve said, kissing him again, slow and deep.

Tony couldn't refute that because Steve was kissing him so intently there, but he would have. But not right now.

Well, part of Steve's kiss was to stop Tony from arguing with him because he knew his husband.

And then he slipped his hand between them to press his advantage.

Tony inhaled deeply, straining with the scarf for a moment because all he wanted to do in that moment was pull Steve closer and put his hands all over him.

"You're being so good," Steve said, sliding his free hand along the material of the scarf, reveling in the feel of it on his skin.

"I can be good." Mostly just for Steve.

"You're always good," Steve murmured with another kiss.

Tony smiled into that kiss, unable to help himself with that kind of praise. "I love you so much."

Steve smiled back. "I love you more."

"Always have to win, huh?"

[heroic_jawline]

"I think we're both going to win," Steve said.

"Well... I have to agree with that," Tony side, shifting a little beneath him.

Steve gave Tony a little squeeze. "Good. I've been working hard on this," he teased.

Tony groaned at that. "Show me."

Steve scratched his finger nail so very lightly along Tony. "Getting there."

"Tease," he all but croaked.

[heroic_jawline]

"Only good pain," Steve murmured, shifting himself between Tony's legs.
