After taking their class here for a museum trip, it was only reasonable to give Steve that date he wanted. Also, it wasn't Olive Garden. A place that made Tony shudder involuntarily.

That whole mention could be blamed on that last bit of weirdness.

"I've heard good things about this place," Tony said, hurrying along the street to the resturant in question.

Maybe before you end up with a marble statue of yourself in your own home, Steven.

"Oh, boundaries, is it?"

Tony just needed to figure out how best to light the statue.

"Boundaries," Steve agreed, putting more shrimp onto Tony's plate with a grin. "About the important things."

Which meant more steak was pushed onto Steve's plate in exchange. "The most important things, of course."

"Life altering things," Steve said with a grin, "like how I won't share the oysters."

Tony gasped in fake shock and horror at that. "You'd deprive me of oysters?"

"I would," Steve said, nodding, "and I would only feel a little bad about it."

"That's it," Tony said, pretending he was leaving the table. "Irreconcilable differences."

Steve burst out laughing. "That's the tipping point?"

"That's all it takes," Tony agreed, breaking into a grin. "I assure you, the alimony will be generous. Also, how do you feel about hooking up with an ex?"

And right back to flirting with his husband. He was incorrigible.

"I'm shockingly okay with it if my ex looks like you," Steve said. Finishing off the oysters.

That fiend.

"I'll allow it."

Their idea of flirting was just so broken.

"Thank you," he said with a grin, finally getting back to the steak Tony had left for him.

It worked for them!

Also, Tony was forever shameless about it. Which was why he grinned and took another sip of his wine. "We are going to have a great time here."

Steve loved being flirted with by Tony, if only because it was the only flirting he recognized as flirting. The rest was people being friendly.

"I'm excited," Steve admitted. "Most of my Italy memories are during the war."

"Well, now you get to learn all about the food and the history here." Steve might leave a little heavier at this rate!

So much seafood! "Well, we're teaching Renaissance art," Steve said. "This is fact-finding."

"Exactly!" Just make sure Tony didn't try to buy something to bring back for the class. Like classic work of art.

Or commission a marble statue of his husband?

"I can't wait," Steve admitted, putting that platter for two through its paces.

Look, sometimes you just need a marble statue of the guy you're sleeping with! Everyone knew that!

"Are we going to get dessert here?" Tony asked, watching both Steve and the server's reaction to the demolishing of all that food.

"I'm good going for a walk," Steve admitted.
