Somewhere warm and 'please don't buy another building, Tony' had been the two stipulations for Valentine's Day this year. One was easy and the other was just rude.

Because there went any plans to buy Steve a castle.

So, Tony thought on places they had not gone yet and then JARVIS finally picked a resort after Tony went through one too many spreadsheets of potential locations. Because JARVIS was a peach like that.

"So, how do you like it?" Tony asked, looking out at the ocean from their private villa.

Steve leaned in to kiss him. "What could I need energy for?"

Steve's smile turned a little mischievous. "I generally like your ideas."

When they aren't accidentally world destroying.

Look, you nearly take over the planet once it twice and suddenly you get labeled as a problem.

"You do," Tony agreed, sounding much too pleased with that.

Steve gave him a little grin, then filled up their champagne glasses again. What else was vacation for other than getting a little squiffy on overpriced wine?

"Why, thank you." They were going to be so drunk and full of delicious food.

"You're welcome, sweetheart," Steve said, smiling. "Eat your seafood, too."

"Bossy, bossy." He loved it.

"You've been living off of bot-made smoothies for too much of the semester," Steve declared.

"They manage vegetables sometimes!" Or something green at least.

"Where do they get vegetables?" Steve asked warily.

"...you know, I've never asked?" Anthony, why? Why must you be like this?

Steve made a little yikes face. "Okay. I'll look into that later. Maybe stock up on citrus too for now?"

"I'm not getting scurvy." Or was he?

"Especially not when you eat all of this nice fruit," Steve said.

Tony snorted, but accepted the fruit dish. "I'll start taking vitamins if it makes you feel better."

"At least for a little while," Steve said.

"Think they have vitamin coffee?"

If not, new Stark product.

"Tony," Steve said, giving him a look over his oyster shell.

"It's just an idea!"

[heroic_jawline]

"Maybe we can work that plan out a little further," Steve suggested.

"I'll add it to the R&D list."

Pepper would sigh and delete it immediately. Just immediately.

"That's a good place for it," Steve agreed. Because he trusted Pepper. "Now eat."

"I'm eating!" He was grazing, really. Apparently being back in the lab did that to him.

"Good," Steve said, smiling gently. "I like to see it."
