Well, class was done and that meant the rest of the week was cleared to do very little but enjoy. It was definitely an upside to being in a committed relationship.

"So, how much food should we order?" Tony asked, already arranging for semi-regular delivers for the week. Because they weren't getting out much, thanks.

"Don't take too long," Steve said, leaving the rest of the ribs and starting on the crab rangoon.

Tony hurried back, bottle in hand. It was something unbearably French and ornate looking. "Tada!"

"That looks very nice," Steve said.

And expensive.

"Oh, I think we picked it up the last time we were in France." Just picked it up at the local store. Yep.

"That was smart of us," Steve said, smiling.

"Will you do the honors?" Tony asked, offering it to him so he could get one of those crab rangoon before they were all gone.

"Should I just squirt it all over myself?" Steve teased.

The phrasing could probably be better, too.

Tony couldn't help the laughter that came from that. "Opening it, you loon."

"I knew that!"

Demonstrably untrue.

"That way we can drink it before..." He gestured at Steve's chest.

Steve blushed alllll the way down. "I like that," he said, setting out to open up the bottle.

Tony ducked his head down a little bit, just in case it popped and hit him. Because their lives dictated it was for sure possible.

"I'm not that bad at opening," Steve protested, laughing.

"I'm being cautious!"

Uh huh.

"You keep sassing me and you won't be licking anything off of me," Steve said.

"You can lick things off me too," Tony suggested like that made up for it.

"Well, why didn't you say that in the first place," Steve teased.

"It's always on the table," Tony promised seriously.

Steve's eyebrows rose up. "Really."

"Maybe lets be careful about that in the lab?" he suggested after a moment of thought. "Sensitive equipment."

"That seems like a good plan," Steve said, licking some of the spilled champagne off the side of his hand.

"Is it good?" Tony asked. "I haven't tried this particular vintage."

Was it from some horrifying century older than Steve, Tony?

"It's good!" Steve confirmed.

"I'll see about getting another bottle for our anniversary then," Tony replied like a crazy person.

"Was this an anniversary bottle?" Steve asked. An anniversary bottle that he'd slurped off his hand?
