So, Tony and Steve hadn't actually talked since everything. Mostly because Steve was busy resting and recovering and Tony was working. Things needed to be disposed of, structural damage repaired, possible financial changes arranged.

Normal, reasonable things!

He wasn't catastrophizing, you were catastrophizing. And just giving Steve time and space to process things. Yes. That was it exactly.

While in one of the rooms Steve didn't go into very often. It was fine.

"I love you too," Steve said, keeping eye contact and smiling softly.

Steve grinned. "You think I can't do it? Because I have your number, Stark."

"Asking for a reason." That couch was not going to make it through the night.

"What's your reason?" Steve asked.

"Because I know you can do it," Tony said, pushing up to kiss him. "You are so good."

Steve smiled, then bit down on Tony's lower lip. "Flattery will get you everywhere."

"It's the truth," Tony murmured.

"My least known superpower," Steve teased softly.

"No one else gets to know about it," Tony replied. "All for me."

"All of you," Steve said, ignoring the protest of his ribs as he shifted himself on the sofa to kiss his way down Tony's chest.

Tony sighed, placing his hands above his head to let Steve do as he liked there. "Steve..."

"Oh, I'm going to need you to get a little louder than that," Steve murmured with a smile. He slipped Tony's legs up over his shoulders, then started a slow trail of kisses down his inner thigh.

"Darling," Tony groaned louder this time, shuddering in anticipation.

Steve hadn't wanted to stop and get supplies anywhere, so he was working with what he had. Enjoy that warm, wet mouth on you, Tony. And the tongue.

If he expected much more than hearing his own name and a series of whimpers, he'd be disappointed. Because Tony was struggling with anything beyond that.

Well, it was the fastest way Steve knew to get Tony out of his own head. So he was just going to be here until his jaw muscle spasmed.

It was bound to completely drive Tony to the edge. Especially when Steve was feeling determined about things. "Steve--"

He remembered one name at least.

Steve finally pulled away, spit-shiny and pleased with himself. "Yes, Tony?"

"God... please?" Oh, and the begging. He enjoyed that too, right?

"It won't hurt you?" Steve checked softly.

"Steve." Tony gave him a look like he might just go insane if he didn't get more of that.

"Okay, just checking," Steve said with a tiny grin in reply. "Hold onto something."

The sofa was doomed.

Look, it was just them stress testing their furniture for any sort of attack on the building! Yes.

Tony let out a relieved breath, reaching up to hold onto the arm of the poor, poor couch that didn't deserve any of this.

"I love you," Steve said, sliding in slowly and watching Tony's face for any signs of pain.
