They had the chalet and that was all well and good, but this was a special occasion!

In the massive castle dining room.

"The dinner of delicious...something you don't remember ordering, exactly," Steve teased.

"I just asked for something local and hearty!" Because he knew Steve's dietary needs.

"Carbs!" Steve cheered.

"Oh yeah, there's bread. I think it's a rye?" It was brown. That's all he knew.

"That sounds delicious," Steve said.

It had been an hour since he'd eaten, after all.

"And I think there's some kind of strudel for dessert." Now he knew he had Steve hooked on the place.

"We can also have it for breakfast in the morning," he offered with a quick kiss as they entered the truly oversized, formal dining room.

Yes, Steve, the theme of this room was clearly "animals we shot over the last three hundred years."

"We finally have a place for that Yule chandelier!"

"And that theme is hunting," Steve said. "We don't hunt."

"We can hunt for foodcarts," he teased.
