Washington D.C., Memorial Day - Monday Afternoon

Though they'd spent the first half of the day with Steve's obligations and Tony going to visit Rhodey and Carol, now they were meeting back up in D.C. in an attempt to make the day a little less somber for a whole variety of reasons between the two of them.

Tony tried his best not draw attention to himself in the classic sunglasses and baseball hat method as he waited along the parade route for Steve to arrive.

It was super effective. Kinda.

Just go with it, okay?

Steve kissed him back, sliding his fingers through Tony's hair and keeping him close. "Love you."

"You," Tony started to say, but had to keep kissing him instead of finishing the thought right away. "You are amazing. Perfect. God, Steve..."

Steve shivered at the praise, kissing Tony back hard.

That was something Tony had no problem with as he nearly climbed Steve in his eagerness to return the kiss hands running through his hair repeatedly.

"You did so good," he said in a low, rumbling voice as he remembered his goal again.

Steve closed his eyes and just let himself drift in the wash of good feelings Tony's voice was evoking.

"My best fella," he said, kissing a little trail down Steve's throat as he scooted back to pull Steve's sweats down off his hips. "You never fail to impress me, darling."

Steve tilted his head to give Tony more space to kiss him and let himself drift, entirely trusting Tony to take care of him.

"How are we?" he asked, keeping his hands on Steve's skin to keep in contact with him the entire time, fingers trailing gently over his hips and thighs. "I need to hear you, babe."

"Mmmmm," Steve said. "Good. So, so good."

Tony pressed a smile into Steve's hip as he moved down on the bed to wriggled out of his own now damp pants.

"Perfect," he said, letting how happy that made him echo through the word in case Steve doubted how much he liked to take care of him. "That's my fella."

That tone made Steve relax even further. There was a part of his brain that always wanted to check on Tony.

"All yours," he agreed softly.

Tony smiled again, biting Steve's hip to cover up how happy that made him. "Can you roll over for me, sweetheart?" he asked, blindly reaching up to snag a pillow.

Steve shivered in happy anticipation and rolled over. "Mmm, please."

Tony pushes the pillow under his hips, kissing the small of Steve's back as he did so.

"I love how great you look like this," he muttered, cupping Steve's ass with his hands to squeeze gently.

"Only you get to see it," Steve mumbled, sounding slightly bleary, from where he'd mashed his face onto a remaining pillow.

"Thank God for that," Tony said, leaning in to bite at the meat of one cheek, hard enough that it'd leave a pretty uncomfortable bruise on anyone else, but just a lovely pink mark on Steve. "I'm not a possessive man, but you drive me nuts sometimes."

Steve moaned and pressed back further into Tony's mouth. More of that, please.

"Gave enough to everyone else today," he murmured.

Tony made a soothing little sound, repeating that on the other cheek as he groped for the lube.

"I've got you now, baby. Just me and you."

"Been wanting that all day," he whispered.

"I'm here now," Tony replied, spreading him open to lick onto as he grabbed hold of the bottle with his other hand.

Steve all but sobbed in response. "Tony--"

Tony hummed, pressing forward eagerly to continue working him open with his mouth and tongue, beard scratching against his skin.

It was safe to say Tony was pulling out all the stops.

Steve was making very appreciative noises as he pressed back, chasing even more of those feelings. Tony was the best, best, best person, his slightly addled brain insisted.

Hey now, Tony would gladly accept that title.

His enthusiasm for what he was doing only increased as Steve made those sounds for him. Enough so that he abandoned the bottle for now, spreading him open wider with both hands.

"Oh, God," Steve gasped, souding completely wrecked. "So, so good."
