Apartment Above Stark Industries, Valentine's Day

There wasn't a massive stuffed animal or way, way too many flowers waiting for Steve in the apartment this year. If only because Tony had learned his lesson about those. Kind of.

He hadn't learned his lesson about making reservations at places that Steve could never, ever learn the real price tag of.

And there were still just a few dozen roses in hiding for when Steve finished getting ready to go. Look, he was doing his best at being restrained here!

"Wouldn't dream of it," Steve teased, ogling Tony's ass shamelessly.

Tony paused, glancing back at him to see that. "I've corrupted you."

That didn't at all stop him from preening under his gaze.

Steve smiled a little sheepishly. "I was starin' at it even before we got together."

"Yeah?" That made the showing off stop if only because Tony was too distracted by how much he liked that.

"I was repressed, not blind," Steve mumbled, blushing hard.

Tony laughed, joining him back on the bed with a kiss. He dropped the supplies next to Steve so he could focus on kissing that blush away. "If it helps, I think I nearly brained myself when I saw you in that SHIELD uniform."

"It does help," Steve said, nipping Tony's lower lip again. "It's still not as tight as the--can't believe I can say this--the uniform from your action figure."

"I'm sorry they didn't do your muscles justice, dear," he teased, reaching for the handcuffs.

"Should I write the company and offer suggestions?" Steve asked, voice going slightly breathy at the reality of those cuffs.

"I'll proof-read it for you," Tony promised, sitting up to toy with them a little. "How do you want these?"

"I really don't know," Steve admitted, chewing his lower lip. "What do you think?"

Tony gave them a little tug to test the strength of them. "You're allowed to ask for what you want," he reminded Steve, leaning in for a kiss.

Steve's cheeks heated up again. "Not too tight, then," he said, moving his hands over his head so that his muscles were properly flexed for Tony.

Tony kissed him again, deep and slow as he carefully locked the cuffs in place. A nice distraction to keep Steve's mind off any embarrassment he might feel.

Steve absolutely loved him for that. He let out a low whimper, then blew out a breath. "Okay," he whispered.

"You look gorgeous," Tony murmured, eyes dark and heavy as he looked Steve over. One hand cupping his cheek to keep grounding contact with him.

Steve's eyes focused straight onto Tony's. "Yeah?"

"Absolutely," Tony said with another kiss. "You always look gorgeous, but this is--" he let out a shaky, pleased sigh. "--something else."

"Glad you like it," Steve said, voice going raspy and a little Brooklyn.

"I like that too," Tony replied with a pleased little rumble, leaning in to press kisses down the side of Steve's neck.

Steve gave a happy little moan. "Love your mouth."

"Yeah?" Tony asked, continuing that down his body. "I love your voice."

"That a cue for me to just keep on babblin'?" Steve asked, arching a little off the bed.

"Please," Tony replied, rewarding him with the sting of teeth on his chest.

Steve moaned. "God, just like that. Teeth are very, very good."
