Which was why Tony was aggressively sighing as he drank his coffee and looked over his emails and messages.

"I miss parts of it," Tony said, running his hands along Steve's body as though the illustrate it. "I miss the curves sometimes. I miss the softness. But no more than a passing thought."

Steve sighed softly, dropping his head down to nuzzle Tony's neck. "You sure?" he whispered.

"Very sure," Tony promised. "What about you?"

Steve went quiet for a moment as he gave the question due consideration. "I need you," he murmured finally, "regardless of packaging." His hands skimmed down along Tony's hips. "And this is fine, and if we were both stuck this way for a while it would be okay because it's that spark that's you that I love."

He chewed his lower lip. "If that makes sense."

"Makes sense to me," Tony replied, kissing away that concern. "It's the intimacy I enjoy."

"Me too," Steve said, wrapping his legs around Tony and smiling.

Tony hummed, pulling him a little closer to the edge of the counter so they could be as close as possible. "Thank god it wasn't just one of us changed. We'd have to make the awkward trip into town for protection."

Because damned if he trusted this island.

Steve laughed, blushing. "Terrifying thought."

He nipped down on Tony's earlobe. "Though we now have new things to try with that drawer of stuff in the bedroom..."

"Oh my, Captain," Tony said, tilting his head to enjoy that. "Female you is so adventurous."

"Well, how often is something like this gonna happen?" Steve replied. "There's gotta be stuff you're curious about."

"I'm definitely curious about eating you out until you can't take anymore," Tony said, proving he was just as forward as he always was.

Steve made a needy little noise like it had been punched out of him. "Here?"

"In bed, preferably," Tony murmured, gripping Steve's thighs tightly.

Steve kissed him. "Now, maybe?"

Tony laughed as he pulled away. "C'mon, darling. You can undress me there."

"Like a present," Steve said, pleased, as he hopped down from the counter and scooped up his shirt and bra.

"Just like one," Tony replied, enjoyimg the view for a moment longer before leading him to the bedroom.

Tony pulled him into the room with another kiss. Because that walk clearly took too long and he was simply bereft after it.

Steve's hands went right to the bottom of Tony's shirt. "Off, off, off," he murmured.

Tony laughed, helping him remove the shirt with only a little struggle as his body wasnt cooperating like he was used to. "Impatient," he teased.

Then was immediately working on getting Steve's pants off. Impatiently.

"They're really tight," Steve said apologetically as they got stuck on his thighs. "Girl sizing is weird."

"They look good on you," Tony reassured him. "Better off, though."

"You're biased," Steve said, smiling as he wriggled them off.

Tony beamed, pushing him onto the bed so he could wriggle out of his own pants. Hips were just weird like this!
