JARVIS and the Mouse overlord had pushed some older movies up into Steve's List of Things to Watch to Understand Tony's References. Though some of them may have just been added because healthy levels of strife were good for the soul.

"Couldn't we watch that new Space Battles show?" Tony asked, concerned for Steve's taste levels here.

"If you do that, I'm making sure they get horse riding lessons too." Rich people sports for the win.

Steve wrinkled his nose up. "Polo?"

"Polo," Tony agreed. "Sorry, darling. I can promise I'll never take you to a match."

"That and giving me the last eggroll are reasons I love you," Steve teased.

"It's all about compromises," Tony replied, leaning in to kiss him even as he grinned back at him.

"We've gotten very good at compromising," Steve decided.

"Mostly on whose turn it is to retrieve Patriot from under the couch," he teased.

"Well, the spreadsheet you made JARVIS start helps," Steve said with a grin.

"It's just smart!" JARVIS basically ran their lives.

"I love you," Steve said, laughing.

Luckily for Tony, honestly.

"Damn right you do," Tony muttered into another kiss.

"Glad you're realizing it," Steve teased softly.

"You're awfully convincing," Tony replied, sticking close.

"I'm Captain America," Steve said. "I have to tell the truth."

"Oh, is that it?" He teased, plucking an empty takeout container from Steve's hands.

"Or maybe I tell the truth, so Captain America gets the credit," Steve said with a little smile.

"That sounds much more likely," Tony said softly, cupping his cheek for a kiss.

Steve smiled, a little embarrassed, as he kissed Tony back. "I am glad it's sinking in," he murmured sincerely. "You deserve to know how very loved you are."

"You do as well. So very much," Tony replied with just as much sincerity.

It was a good thing that Tony had taken Steve's takeout box away because Steve was pulling him into his lap for a kiss.

Tony went without any resistance, wrapping his arms around Steve. Nothing in the world could be better than this in the moment.

Steve hugged him tightly, hoping very hard that Patriot would behave himself and not ruin this.

Steve, there was both food and people not giving him the attention he needed. Of course Patriot tried another running leap at the bed.

And then very slowly slid back off the edge as it proved still too high.

"He gets that from you," Tony murmured, hiding his laughter against Steve's shoulder.

"He needs a pair of rocket boots," Steve teased.

"So he can find new things to jump into?" Tony replied, kissing him one more time before leaning over to check on the dog.
