Ballroom of Stark Towerlet, Saturday Afternoon

So, maybe the whole getting Steve up to speed on roller skating in the ballroom wasn't the best plan. But ice skating was happening without a lot of hot chocolate being provided, so there they were.

And now Steve had a sprained wrist that he was downplaying like his last name was actually Stark or something. Which was rude. Sure, it'd heal with record speed and all, but the principle of the matter!

"Are you sure we don't need to go to the clinic? Or maybe just get Don?"

"Hello," Tony said, letting out a little sigh.

"The ice cream's safe?" he teased with another kiss.

"Until you get a craving again," Tony replied wryly.

Steve laughed. "Well, that's when I'll stop sharing," he teased.

"Cruel man," Tony replied with one more kiss before he settled into the side that didn't have a sprained wrist.

"Never," Steve said with a laugh, curling his good arm around Tony.

"Is this a request for me to feed you ice cream?" Tony asked, glancing down at Steve's hand with a grin.

"It hadn't been, but now that you mention it, yes, please," Steve said, smiling.

"I'll allow it this time," Tony replied. "And because I know this carton is being finished here."

"Well, it's only one container," Steve said. "You could probably finish it yourself."

"I'd get distracted halfway through," Tony replied, getting a spoonful for him.

"Distracted by what?" Steve asked, taking the spoonful.

"Anything, honestly," Tony rellied.

Steve smiled. "Well, I've seen it happen," he admitted.

"I have a lot on my mind!" Hence completely forgetting to eat the ice cream while offering Steve a other bite.

"I know you do," Steve said, taking the second bite. "Don't forget to try the ice cream."

"Oh! Right," Tony said, taking an absentminded bite for himself. "Okay, this is a good flavor."

"I have good taste," Steve agreed. Ignore all Jello-based choices he'd made in his life, okay?

"Picked me, didn't you?" he teased.

"I did," Steve agreed, stealing a cold, chocolatey kiss.

Tony kissed him back, humming happily. "Feeling better?"

"95 percent there," Steve said.

[imafuturist]

"Well, we're not going anywhere until that last 5% is taken care of," Tony said with a firm nod.

"Should we watch a movie?" Steve asked. Someday they would get through an entire movie! Maybe it would be today!

"Meaning one of your romcoms," Tony filled in. Which he never minded missing.
