Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

"God, Steve," he groaned quietly. Because this felt just about perfect right now.

Quiet and slow seemed right for tonight: reconnecting after visit that always set Steve's equilibrium askew. "I love you," he murmured, nipping down.

"I love you too," Tony sighed, closing his eyes to enjoy the moment with him.

Steve took his sweet time, kissing slowly along Tony's chest before reaching back into the drawer and finding massage oil.

He smiled. "Time to get pampered."

Which was hard to get Tony to stay still for, so being tied up helped.

"Oh?" Tony asked, opening his eyes slowly to give him a look of surprise.

Steve warmed the oil in his hands, smiling. "How often do I get to do this?" he asked.

"I'll be sure to make it all up to you," Tony promised.

In Greece. After their place was destroyed by a were-elephant.

"I'm not keeping score," Steve said, running his hands along Tony's chest again, rubbing the oil in.

Tony inhaled deeply, relaxing beneath his touch. "But I like to take care of you too."

Steve kissed the newly oiled skin. "I know you do. That's why I had to tie you up to get my way."

He was mostly teasing.

"You're cruel," he teased back.

Steve moved his head to suck hard on Tony's nipple. Cruelly.

So cruel!

Tony gripped the scarf tighter to keep from reaching down to bury his fingers in Steve's hair like he very much wanted to. "Steve--"

Steve hummed happily, then moved to the other side. He didn't want to neglect anything.

"I forgot how much of a tease you are," Tony sighed.

"I like to be thorough," Steve said with a little smile, smoothing oil into Tony shoulders.

"Thorough is one way to put it," Tony sighed.

Steve kissed him softly. "We'll get there," he promised. "I just want you to feel cherished."

"That you always do," Tony assured him quietly.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "Well, 'cherished' isn't my first thought when I have you pinned against the wall," he admitted.

"Blanketed," Tony suggested. "Enveloped. Owned."

Steve smiled. "I like all of those," he admitted.

"Well, that's how I feel in those moments," Tony said, biting his bottom lip because he couldn't push up to kiss Steve.

Steve leaned in to give him another soft kiss. "I'm glad to know that."

"You make me feel so happy," Tony murmured, kissing him back.
