Maldives, Tuesday Evening

Somewhere warm and 'please don't buy another building, Tony' had been the two stipulations for Valentine's Day this year. One was easy and the other was just rude.

Because there went any plans to buy Steve a castle.

So, Tony thought on places they had not gone yet and then JARVIS finally picked a resort after Tony went through one too many spreadsheets of potential locations. Because JARVIS was a peach like that.

"So, how do you like it?" Tony asked, looking out at the ocean from their private villa.

"Cruel," Tony repeated, pressing a kiss to Steve's shoulder.

"Cruel would be tossing you into the pool for making me feel badly about myself," Steve said.

"I would never!" Not in his right mind, at least.

Steve smiled and leaned in for a kiss. "I know. And even over the weekend, I liked that jerk."

"Was it because I'm so handsome?" Tony asked, kissing him back for that.

"You wore sunglasses inside," Steve said.

"Oh, so you like the sunglasses?" Tony replied, leaning into him as he sipped his champagne.

"I liked you despite the sunglasses," Steve said.

"And what about your adorable flannels?" Tony asked. The most Hallmark uniform there was.

Steve laughed. "I liked the flannel."

Of course he did.

"I prefer you out of the flannel," Tony said with a lascivious grin that was all teasing.

Steve's cheeks went pink. "I've noticed that."

"Should I invest in some for your wardrobe?" Tony asked, enjoying the blushing.

"How long would they last?" Steve asked archly.

"I'm not the type to rip clothing." No, no. He just encouraged Steve to do it.

Steve's blush deepened. "Could you be?"

Tony hummed, leaning in to kiss him for that. "I very much could be if you'd like me to."

"Maybe once," Steve said, kissing him back. "Just to see."

"Of course, darling," Tony agreed, shifting forward to straddle one of Steve's thighs so he could lean against him lazily.

"Mmm, hi," Steve said, stealing another kiss. "I like the Maldives."

"A nice break from the weather back in Maryland," Tony agreed, chasing that kiss with another sip of champagne.

Steve smiled. "Didn't the groundhog promise warm weather?"

"Not as warm as here," Tony replied, sounding pleased with himself.

"This is wonderful," Steve said, smiling and tilting his head into the sunlight like a giant solar powered supersoldier.

"It is," Tony agreed, watching Steve with a fond little grin.
