Maldives, Tuesday Evening

Somewhere warm and 'please don't buy another building, Tony' had been the two stipulations for Valentine's Day this year. One was easy and the other was just rude.

Because there went any plans to buy Steve a castle.

So, Tony thought on places they had not gone yet and then JARVIS finally picked a resort after Tony went through one too many spreadsheets of potential locations. Because JARVIS was a peach like that.

"So, how do you like it?" Tony asked, looking out at the ocean from their private villa.

Steve shuddered and came. "Oh my God."

Tony took only a little more to follow after him with groan. Then sort of slumped against Steve, clinging to him.

"Best thing about this," Steve mumbled when he could form words, "we can roll right into the pool now."

Tony laughed, kissing his shoulder. "I'll take you up on that."

Steve let out a low sigh and then flipped them both over so he could give Tony a proper kiss.

"You're incredible and I love you," he said.

Tony laughed at the sudden change even as he kissed Steve back. "I'm glad you're enjoying the vacation so far."

"And we haven't even eaten yet!" Steve said happily before rolling them into the pool.

Tony yelped at cooler water, but dipped under to clean himself almost immediately. "We'll get room service."

Villa service. Whatever.

Steve pressed Tony against the wall to try to make up for all the kisses he couldn't give him a few minutes ago. "Sounds swell."

Tony smiled and kiss him back, lazy and contented. "Mmm, I really like this."

"Me too," Steve said with another smile. "You picked a really nice spot, Tony."

Don't buy the Maldives.

WHAT ABOUT JUST ONE SMALL PART?

"Repeat location?"

"Let's try the food first," Steve said, "but I think so."

He didn't want to end up with twee resort portions of food that didn't work for him.

"Deal," Tony said, kissing him again. "Want me to order?"

"Please," Steve said. "I like whatever you get."

"Yes, darling," Tony said, stretching over to find a tablet to order a nice mix of things for Steve to try.

Steve kicked his legs lazily in the water as he floated. "This is so nice."

"All ours for the rest of the week."

[heroic_jawline]

Steve let out a happy sigh. "That's swell."

Tony went through the options and ordered half the menu of seafood. Because why else go to a beach?

"Another glass of champagne?"

"Yes, please," Steve said with an eager smile. "It's nice."

Tony pushed himself fully out of the water for that, stealing Steve's discarded robe.

"So. What would you like to do while we're here?"

"There's things to do too?" Steve replied, grinning. "I was fine with swimming and eating."

And having sex, but he was going to say that out loud.

"We can go on an excursion if we want."

But mostly have sex in different rooms of the villa, really.

"I've never been to the Maldives," Steve said. "It's probably good to leave the hotel."
