Rockafeller Center Christmas Tree - NYC - Sunday Afternoon

Well, it had felt necessary to do the tourist thing and go look at the tree with the mass of people leading up to the holiday. The urge to do this was quickly passing as they were in the moment of it.

Mostly because it was too cold for Steve and too crowded for the both of them. But it was a pretty tree at least. The lone upside to the whole afternoon here.

"We can say we saw it now," Tony suggested, arm curled around Steve's and all bundled up in winter gear that was probably too expensive for where they were. Like he was just asking to be pickpocketed or something.

(Joke was on them, he never remembered to carry a wallet because why would he?)

Steve's arms reached out to grab hold of the sides of the tub as he closed his eyes. "You're so good at this."

"Well, I have a very willing test subject to practice on," Tony murmured.

"Very appreciative, too," Steve added, words hitching slightly.

Which meant Tony went much slower at that, making things very difficult for Steve. With love! Always with love.

Well, Steve was always up for a challenge. (Heh.) He moaned--loudly--at whatever it was that Tony was doing.

"Just like that," Tony agreed, kissing a trail along Steve's throat as he continued.

"I love this tub," Steve finally managed to say, sliding one hand into Tony's hair to keep him closer.

"So, no notes on the bathroom," Tony murmured. He kept up the slow, steady pace there.

"Maybe taller sides," Steve teased as water splashed over the side with their rocking.

"Maybe if you could stay still," Tony replied sweetly.

[heroic_jawline]

"If I could stay still," Steve repeated, blinking.

"Mmhmm."

Look, you married this, Steve.

Steve moved his hand so he could use his fingers to tilt Tony's chin up so he could kiss him again. "Be less good at this, then."

"Nope," Tony said cheerfully once the kiss broke. "Stay still for me."

Did he need to tighten his hand a little at that? No. But he was anyway.

Steve let out a shuddering breath. "I'll stay still."

It might test the structural integrity of the bathtub he was holding onto, but he'd hold still!

It was for science!

"Perfect," Tony murmured, trying to make a mark on Steve's neck as he picked up the pace with his hand again.

Steve laughed breathlessly. "I'm hardly perfect."

"I'll be the judge of that," Tony replied sweetly.

"Oh, will you?" Steve asked, smiling back.

[imafuturist]

"That's my job here," Tony insisted, pressing in for a kiss.

"I didn't realize you were doing this as a job," Steve teased between kisses.

"Science is everywhere, Captain Rogers." Oh yeah, that was it.

Steve snorted. "Really."

[imafuturist]

"And we are happy scientists." Did Reed use that line on Sue? If the man ever used a single line in his life, it would be that. But still no.

Steve laughed at him. "That's terrible."
