Tony was regretting the number of dogs he'd ended up with here. Mostly because he was presently covered in them as he tried to go through work emails. Tried was the key word there because they were being needy and competitive for the attention he could provide.

"Steve, you can turn back any moment now," he just sighed as he was up to his neck in fur.

It'd be so nice if things worked that way, wouldn't it?

"I like them," Steve confirmed. "You weren't really worried, right?"

Steve would only blink a couple times if he came home and found an animal shelter relocated to the ballroom.

"Lots of people have a chandelier collection," Steve teased with another kiss.

"We donate them, it's not a collection. A collection implies keeping."

"I like the fireworks ones," Steve admitted.

"Well, we'll donate it to the museum of your choice," Tony suggested. "Maybe one in Brooklyn."

Steve lit up at that suggestion. "I like that."

And those smiles made Tony's day, honestly. Even after being together as long as they'd been. "It's a plan."

Steve kissed him again, mostly because he could. "Yay," he said, imitating Tony's little excited noise.

"Oh, now you're just mocking me," he teased, circling his arms around Steve's waist.

"Never," Steve said, kissing him between his eyes. "I love when you get excited."

"Well, I'll accept that reasoning," Tony replied, eyes closed happily to accept the kiss.

"I'm happy to hear that," Steve said. "Let's get something to eat before the gang wakes up."

"Yes," Tony agreed. "How were they about the snacks?"

"Enthusiastic," Steve said with a laugh. "I went to Moobyburger."

Don't addict the puppies to cheeseburgers, Steven.

"You are asking for trouble there," Tony said with a laugh.

"Oh, I sure am," Steve said. "Special occasions only."

Good luck explaining that to three pairs of puppy eyes, Steve.

Tony nodded along with that. "But, at least this will keep me from being in the lab as much. Since they'll need a lot of focus to train."

Steve's smile increased at that. "I'm never going to be upset to see your face more often."

"Not even when it includes an energetic pair of dogs?" he teased.

"Not even then," Steve said, kissing him again.

"True love then," he teased, kissing Steve back happily.

"And I think I'll need the backup," Steve teased back.

"That rowdy? Here I thought we'd see drill instructor Steve."

Steve grinned. "Oh, you definitely will. We can't have rowdy pups."
