Tony's Workshop in the Tiniest Version of the Stark Tower, Friday Evening

Tony had meant to do something nice for Steve after they got back from their class and all the snow involved in it. He'd really meant to. But instead he'd immediately gotten pulled into a project after a phone call from his R&D department back in New York, needing a solution before Pepper got an ulcer from the stress.

Which meant he went straight to the lab to work it out. And then that turned into tinkering with his dozens of other Stark Industries based projects in various states of completion.

And then from there, he was working on a version of the suit. Mark... look, the number wasn't important. The important thing was that he'd forgotten the original plan. Which he'd realize at some point, right?

"Yeah, I get tetchy when people go with punishment," Tony agreed. Like building a suit of armor to do a murder.

"I've noticed that," Steve said with a quick kiss.

Tony hummed, enjoying the kiss. "Mmm. You taste like kimchi."

"I'm glad you like that," Steve said, smiling against Tony's mouth.

"Might need a quick trip to brush our teeth before we get into anything," he admitted with a laugh.

"I love how you think," Steve said, laughing. "Food first, and the movie, then teeth brushing."

This would not happen.

It might! Maybe not exactly in that order.

"Look at us planning things. You'd almost think we're professionals."

Steve laughed. "We are professionals."

Tony hummed, considering.

"No, that doesn't sound right," he joked.

"I didn't say what we're professionals at," Steve teased.

[imafuturist]

"You have me there," Tony replied, pointing his spoon at Steve.

Steve grinned. "I can be good at this sometimes."

"Don't be cute, I'm trying to watch the movie." False.

[heroic_jawline]

"Have we figured out what part of Italy this part of California is supposed to be?" Steve teased.

[imafuturist]

"I have not heard them mention it." It was probably in the title of the movie, but okay.

Eh, like anyone read the titles. "Oh, it's a bakery on a vineyard," Steve said. "Interesting choice."

"How... you know what? I'm not questioning the business choices. I'm not."

He so was.

"Yes, you are," Steve said with a little grin. "You have a judgmental line between your eyes."

Shhhh. SHHHH.

"It's just... the licensing issues!"

[heroic_jawline]

Steve laughed. "Go on."

[imafuturist]

"You're making fun of me," Tony huffed, leaving his spoon in this empty bowl to pick at the remaining banchan.

"Not at all," Steve said. "I want to know about the licensing issues!"

Hopefully Steve was prepared for a full on lecture. It involved so much more on business law that Captain America ever needed to know.

But it also got them to the point in the movie where the love story was peaking.

Steve got a little misty eyed because of course he did. "This isn't so bad."

It was terrible, but he loved it.

Tony snorted, leaning into his side fully to enjoy the story. Well, mostly enjoy Steve enjoying it.
