Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

"No," Steve said, swatting his hip gently.

Tony snickered and glanced up at him unrepentant. "Okay, okay. Different calendar."

"Thank you," Steve said with dignity.

"Love you," Tony said in a little sing-song voice.

"I know you do," Steve said, kissing Tony below the ear. "Brat."

"I'm a delight," Tony insisted, chuckling.

"You are both," Steve said, kissing below the other ear.

"That I am, that I am," he sighed happily.

Steve pulled the rest of Tony's clothing off, then removed his own because fair was fair. "Now, what to do with you," he murmured.

"Anything you like," Tony replied with a pleased little grin.

Steve slid his hand down his own stomach, smiling softly. "And I wanted to just make you watch me?"

"Would you do that to me?" You cruel, cruel man.

Steve took hold of himself with a quiet sigh. "Maybe."

"You're so mean," Tony said, sounding a little breathless as he watched Steve.

"This doesn't feel mean," Steve said, closing his eyes.

"It's mean if I can't touch you," he insisted.

Steve leaned in, brushing his beard against Tony's chest. "What if I touch you instead?"

Tony groaned at that, straining to hold onto the scarf. "Yes. Yes, more of that."

Steve nipped down. "You're in that kind of mood?" he checked.

"I am in a mood to enjoy my whole evening with my husband," Tony sighed.

Steve kissed down Tony's chest, making sure to let his beard scratch down his skin.

"God, Steve," he groaned quietly. Because this felt just about perfect right now.

Quiet and slow seemed right for tonight: reconnecting after visit that always set Steve's equilibrium askew. "I love you," he murmured, nipping down.

"I love you too," Tony sighed, closing his eyes to enjoy the moment with him.

Steve took his sweet time, kissing slowly along Tony's chest before reaching back into the drawer and finding massage oil.

He smiled. "Time to get pampered."

Which was hard to get Tony to stay still for, so being tied up helped.
