Central Park, NYC - Tuesday Evening

So Steve was back to normal, but that didn't stop him from wanting to go on a walk. And what better place to go walking and enjoy the tail end of summer than to head on back to New York for a date night?

Okay, so maybe there were plenty of other places that didn't involve the heat or the faint summer scent of garbage. But they were New Yorkers and therefore in New York, smell and all. At least they probably didn't have to worry about any kind of alien invasions.

Hopefully.

Steve grinned. "Maybe I will again once I get fed."

"I might need a drink or two," Tony suggested. "Find a nice little bar..."

"We'll have to walk a few blocks to avoid tourist prices," Steve said like he wasn't married to a billionaire.

Yes, but the tourists.

"Oh no, however will we manage?"

"Fueled by hot dogs," Steve said, nodding.

"And halal chicken," Tony replied sweetly.

"And tacos," Steve added. The bar might have to be many blocks away.

Tony laughed and nodded at that. "Sounds perfect to me."

"You're very obliging," Steve said, heading for the first cart he saw.

"I am a very accommodating person," Tony said, trailing after him.

"I've heard that about you," Steve said, smiling at Tony, then at the guy running the cart. "I'll take two of everything," he said.

"Yes, he's serious," Tony chimed in, already getting out a card to pay for it.

"Where's he gonna put it?" the guy asked in a thick New York accent.

"Hollow leg," Tony replied solemnly.

Steve snickered. "It's true."

"Won't go to waste," Tony promised, just smiling at the incredulous look.

Steve ignored the grumbled as the guy handed over two of everything. "This smells amazing. Thank you."

"You're ridiculous," Tony informed him as they walked away.

"You love me," Steve said around a mouthful of chicken and rice.

"I love you," Tony agreed, brushing a bit of rice off Steve's chin.

Steve smiled and held out a forkful for Tony. "It's good."

"Why, thank you," he replied, taking the offered bite. "You're going to be so full, you know."

"I'm never full for long," Steve assured him.

[imafuturist]

"Not without making some poor buffet cry," Tony replied.

Steve grinned. "Thor and I should go to an all-you-can eat place and take Raiden."
