Rockafeller Center Christmas Tree - NYC - Sunday Afternoon

Well, it had felt necessary to do the tourist thing and go look at the tree with the mass of people leading up to the holiday. The urge to do this was quickly passing as they were in the moment of it.

Mostly because it was too cold for Steve and too crowded for the both of them. But it was a pretty tree at least. The lone upside to the whole afternoon here.

"We can say we saw it now," Tony suggested, arm curled around Steve's and all bundled up in winter gear that was probably too expensive for where they were. Like he was just asking to be pickpocketed or something.

(Joke was on them, he never remembered to carry a wallet because why would he?)

Tony smiled at that, reaching up a damp hand to cup Steve's cheek. "Perfect."

"I love you," Steve murmured, smiling softly.

"Love you too," Tony replied immediately.

"Wanna make out in a tub?" Steve asked.

"Of course I do," he said, laughing.

"Good," Steve said, kissing him.

"Yaaaaay." Anthony, c'mon.

"That was a very grown up reaction," Steve teased.

"Do you not like my enthusiasm?" he asked.

"I love your enthusiasm," Steve said, kissing his nose, which was not exactly making out.

They were getting there!

"Damn right," Tony said, twisting around to straddle Steve's hips.

Steve made a happy little noise and slid his hands around Tony's waist. "This is good."

This was going to cause a lot of splashing.

Just a normal amount of splashing.

"Can I make it any better?"

"Well, I've heard that you're a genius, so I'm gonna let you figure it out," Steve teased, rolling his hips.

Tony sighed and tossed his head back. "Well, I like that kind of faith in me."

"I always have that kind of faith in you," Steve said earnestly.

"Darling." That earned him another, sweeter kiss.

Steve scratched his fingers down Tony's spine. "That's me," he said.

"Very much so," he murmured, pressing into another kiss. Someone was taking the whole making out in yhe tub thing to heart.

Steve kissed him back, keeping every thing soft and slow.

"We need to go on vacation more often," Tony decided.

"I don't know if you've heard," Steve said, "but I own a hotel now."

"You do," Tony agreed with a laugh. "I'll have to take ruthless advantage."

"I like the sound of that," Steve said, kissing him again.

"Oh, do you?" he teased, tugging on Steve's hair.
