Tony's Workshop in the Tiniest Version of the Stark Tower, Friday Evening

Tony had meant to do something nice for Steve after they got back from their class and all the snow involved in it. He'd really meant to. But instead he'd immediately gotten pulled into a project after a phone call from his R&D department back in New York, needing a solution before Pepper got an ulcer from the stress.

Which meant he went straight to the lab to work it out. And then that turned into tinkering with his dozens of other Stark Industries based projects in various states of completion.

And then from there, he was working on a version of the suit. Mark... look, the number wasn't important. The important thing was that he'd forgotten the original plan. Which he'd realize at some point, right?

"This looks like a good one," Steve said, turning his attention to the screen. "Is it pretending to be Florence or Rome?"

"It's definitely not Venice," Steve said.

"Venice," Tony sighed. "We should go back."

He really liked making random plans, didn't he?

"That would be fun," Steve said. "Not today, though."

"Seoul first," Tony agreed.

"Seoul first," Steve agreed with a small smile. "All the food."

"That you get to enjoy while I work at a conference," Tony bemoaned.

"I'll send lots of pictures," Steve said. "That'll help, right?"

Tony shot him a look for that. "It might be better that I get to come back to a gorgeous blond in my room every night."

"Oh, do I know him?" Steve asked.

"Maybe," Tony said, leaning into him for a moment. "Hard to miss. Beautiful eyes and a fantastic rack."

Steve snorted. "Fantastic rack? Really?"

Tony let his gaze linger on Steve's chest with a simple, "Mhm."

Steve leaned in and kissed him. "Brat."

"I can't help that I love 'em busty," he teased, kissing Steve back.

"Never call me busty again," Steve replied.

"Why, darling, it's the highest praise."

"To whom?" Steve asked, smiling against Tony's mouth. "If you said it to Pepper, she'd own your entire company."

"Well."

Tony looked like he was thinking better of commenting on Pepper's... physique in response to that.

"You know I'm right," Steve said, looking smug.

"Can't I objectify my husband in peace?" Tony whined.

"Apologies," Steve said, chuckling. "Carry on."

"Thank you," Tony said primly, leaning into Steve's chest to nuzzle a little. Like the absolute freak he was.
