Steve spent the holiday with his scattered team while Tony had spent it with his own. Which was much less upsetting than it seemed like it ought to have been to take time apart after... everything.

But it could have been because they were going to meet back up.

Which was why Tony was keeping a low profile by the Portalocity section of this airport, waiting for Steve to arrive. Not being impatient about it at all. Don't be ridiculous.

"Get changed! There should also be some snacks," Tony said with a little shove that really wouldn't do anything to move Steve unless he allowed himself to be moved.

"I like snacks," Steve said, heading deeper into the boat.

The snacks were, of course, very Greek and with a lot of wine. Because of course wine.

Ouzo would be for later.

"I made sure the island should have enough to keep you from starving too," Tony called as he made his way to the helm.

"Always looking out for me," Steve called back.

Luckily, this boat was fully Tony Stark-ed out and as such, completely automated once Tony was able to put in instructions for it. And unlike certain other self-driving things, these didn't screw up frequently.

Which left Tony returning to find Steve once they were safely on their way out of the harbor.

Well, Elon Musk was no Tony Stark.

"This is a ridiculous bedroom," Steve informed him, wriggling his bare toes on the bed.

"Do you like it?" Because it was now yours, Steve.

"I like it," Steve replied, grinning at him, "but it's ridiculous."

"It's just a yacht!" Which was better than a tiny plane, right?

"A sentence I heard all the time growing up," Steve teased.

"Okay, okay," Tony said with a laugh, slipping out of his shoes to join him in the bed. "But it's for here."

"Just to ferry us to your island?" Steve said. "I'm sure we can use it more often than that."

"And to enjoy the water around the island," Tony said. "Since it's not really suited for cross-oceanic travel."

"It's not?"

Steve might've been harboring fantasies of sailing it to Fandom. Shh.

"Too tiny," Tony replied with a little chuckle. "We'd have to resupply a lot."

"This is tiny?"

Steve would never understand rich people.

"For a ship it kind of is," Tony said, frowning down at at. "For that much distance to cover. It's like a small plane versus one you'd use to go to the next continent over."

"Do not frown down at your not-enormous-enough yacht," Steve teased, reaching out to pull Tony closer.

"I could get a bigger one if that's what you want," Tony suggested, getting comfortable against him.

"I do not want a bigger one," Steve said.

"Maybe for Christmas," Tony said, clearly teasing him now.

[heroic_jawline]

"No more boats," Steve said, poking him in the side and smiling.

[imafuturist]

"No boats, no cars, what's okay to get you?" he teased.

[heroic_jawline]

"Dinner," Steve said.
