Ballroom of Stark Towerlet, Saturday Afternoon

So, maybe the whole getting Steve up to speed on roller skating in the ballroom wasn't the best plan. But ice skating was happening without a lot of hot chocolate being provided, so there they were.

And now Steve had a sprained wrist that he was downplaying like his last name was actually Stark or something. Which was rude. Sure, it'd heal with record speed and all, but the principle of the matter!

"Are you sure we don't need to go to the clinic? Or maybe just get Don?"

"I can take the steps," Steve insisted.

"You'd try to reach for the railing to go faster," Tony said.

"...probably," Steve admitted.

"I know you, sweetheart. Elevator it is."

"Fine," Steve said with a slight pout.

Tony kissed him on the cheek for it. "You get ice cream out of the deal, you know."

"Chocolate?" Steve asked hopefully.

"...how about we see what's still in the freezer?" Because Steve. Because Steve.

Steve looked slightly guilty. "I have been snacking."

"Well, it'll be whatever is still in there and then we can put it on the grocery list for JARVIS." Who judged them. Harshly.

"Thanks, JARVIS," Steve told the ceiling.

[imafuturist]

"Perhaps Captain Rogers would prefer a frozen yogurt," JARVIS suggested. Judgementally.

"Is that because we only have yogurt?" Steve asked.

The silence from JARVIS was damning.

"We can order something. Right?" Tony suggested.

"Of course, sir."

"We'll order something."

Steve sighed. "Sorry."

"Well, this way we can make sure to order your flavor," Tony replied, not at all letting this derail the plan of ice cream and fussing.

"Thank you," Steve said, leaning in for a kiss.

Tony hummed, kissing him back. "J, please put a rush on that order."

Steve needed it!

"Thanks," Steve said with a smile. "You're the best."

"Keep that in mind next time you're mad at me," Tony suggested with an answering grin.

Steve laughed. "Depends what you may have done."

"But I got you ice cream!"

That totally excused scientific abominations.

"You did," Steve said.

[imafuturist]

"That means I'm exempt for a bit at the very least, right?"

"For now," Steve agreed as the elevator opened on their floor.
