Well, they'd had another repeat kid. One from a less than ideal timeline from the sound of things. But it was consistent. That had to be good, right?

Right.

At least that's what Tony was hoping as he'd added more backup plans to his list based on the little tidbits she'd dropped here and there. Because that was just how he rolled when faced with bizarre scenarios.

But right now? Right now he was going to spend the evening with Steve to make up for, well, everything about the weekend. "I ordered pizza," he called once he heard Steve and the dog coming back from a walk.

Steve pressed a kiss to the skin he'd been resting on. "Yes."

"You're too sweet," Tony said with a little laugh.

"Not to everyone," Steve said with another grin.

"Oh, aren't I thr lucky one," Tony said, giving Steve's hair a playful little tug.

"Well, I like to think you are," Steve teased.

"I am, I am," Tony insisted.

Steve kissed him again. "Good answer. You get rewarded."

"Thank you," Tony hummed, wrapping his arms around Steve's neck to keep him close.

"What kind of reward would you like?" Steve asked.

"Well, you're already in my bed, so we're halfway to what I have in mind," Tony replied with a grin.

"Oh, do you want me to make the bed?" Steve asked.

"Nope," Tony replied, rolling them so he was on top this time. "Kind of the opposite, really."

Steve smiled. "I'm listening."

"Maybe a big mess of me and the bed," he suggested.

Steve shivered. "That sounds amazing. Do you want to be held down?"

"By you?" Tony asked. "Always."

Steve nuzzled Tony's neck. "Scarves?" he suggested.

Tony shuddered in response. "Yes."

Steve reached into the drawer by the bed. "Fortunately, we can accommodate."

"Lucky, lucky me," Tony said, kissing him one more time.

"You'll look amazing," Steve promised, pulling out red scarves.

Because Tony.

Well, he couldn't help that it worked with his complexion!

"Look more amazing beneath you," he teased.

Steve leaned in to kiss him. "Flatterer."

Tony chuckled into that kiss. "Can't help it if it's true."

Steve linked his fingers through Tony's, squeezing gently and pulling them up over his head. "Oh, I like this view."
