Venice, Italy - Friday Evening

After taking their class here for a museum trip, it was only reasonable to give Steve that date he wanted. Also, it wasn't Olive Garden. A place that made Tony shudder involuntarily.

That whole mention could be blamed on that last bit of weirdness.

"I've heard good things about this place," Tony said, hurrying along the street to the resturant in question.

"Do you think we could also share a bottle of wine?" Steve asked.

"Of course," Tony said, already flagging down their server to order two bottles of for the table.

"I like listening to you speak Italian," Steve said with a grin.

"I could do it more often," Tony suggested as the waiter rushed away to get their wine. "But I don't think the coffee shop would appreciate me ordering a venti like that."

Steve laughed. "It might be a little fancy for the Perk," he agreed.

"And I might be kicked out!" The worst possible outcome there.

"Another reason to reinstate the coffee kiosk," Steve teased.

"Exactly!" Encouraging Tony to be extra, huh?

Sometimes you just had to lean into the pitch?

"So steak and seafood. Sound perfect."

"And we can get some kind of vegetable?" For posterity.

[heroic_jawline]

"We can definitely get some vegetables," Steve said.

"You get to pick the antipasto," Tony said with a grin. "Since I picked the wine."

Steve looked through the menu. "Veggie tempura?" he suggested.

Like vegetables, but less healthy!

"Very Italian," he teased.

"I could've said the trio of fois gras," Steve teased back.

"I have spoiled you," Tony bemoaned. Like it was a bad thing or something.

Steve grinned. "Maybe a little," he agreed.

"Excellent!" Yeah, you married this one, Steve.

Steve beamed at him. "Is that your plan?"

[imafuturist]

"To make sure to spoil you rotten?" So you won't ever leave. "Yes."

Just leaving part of it out. Normal things!

Steve nudged his foot against Tony's under the table. "It's not necessary."

"A little spoiling?" Tony suggested sheepishly.

[heroic_jawline]

"A little spoiling is okay," said the man staying in Venice for the weekened.

Tony nodded in acceptance as their wine was brought, presented and then poured for them both. He took the opportunity to use more Italian to order their meals with the foie gras along with the tempura vegetables.

Because he could, really.

"Very impressive," Steve teased, sipping from his glass.
