Rockafeller Center Christmas Tree - NYC - Sunday Afternoon

Well, it had felt necessary to do the tourist thing and go look at the tree with the mass of people leading up to the holiday. The urge to do this was quickly passing as they were in the moment of it.

Mostly because it was too cold for Steve and too crowded for the both of them. But it was a pretty tree at least. The lone upside to the whole afternoon here.

"We can say we saw it now," Tony suggested, arm curled around Steve's and all bundled up in winter gear that was probably too expensive for where they were. Like he was just asking to be pickpocketed or something.

(Joke was on them, he never remembered to carry a wallet because why would he?)

"But I don't want them, Tony," Steve said. "Let them stay in LA and be traitors to Brooklyn."

"Well, it'll be on the table in case you change your mind." Which Steve Rogers was famously known for, right?

"I'm not going to change my mind," Steve smiled as the steam started lifting from the tub.

"Tub," Tony said, giving him a little shove to just back burner his plan to buy Steve a sports team sometime in the future.

Steve would be happy coaching Little League, Tony!

"Tub," he confirmed, lifting his shirt off over his head.

...he could do that.

"Get comfortable, I need to make sure they bring the pizza up here," Tony said with a distracted little sigh at all those lovely muscles.

Steve smiled. "You look a little distracted," he teased.

"I happen to have a very attractive husband," Tony replied like he was letting Steve in on a secret.

"Ooh, does he know I'm here?" Steve asked.

Tony laughed and shook his head to play along. "Of course not. I'd be in some serious trouble. It's his hotel."

"Wow," Steve said, whistling. "He must be some kind of moneybags."

Steven.

"Keeps me in the lifestyle I've grown accustomed to," Tony agreed, stripping off his own clothing now.

Pizza could be an after thought.

"Ooooh," Steve said without meaning to.

"I love him dearly, you know," Tony said, maybe spending some time putting on a show for him.

Steve beamed at him. "Do you."

"Of course I do," Tony replied. Then just had to tease, "Now, what I'm doing with you... a mystery for the ages."

Steve burst out laughing. "You're such a brat."

"You love when I'm a brat," Tony said, leaning over for a kiss.

Steve kissed him back, lingering in it and smiling. "I really do."

Tony ran his fingers through Steve's hair as the kiss lingered. Because all the teasing was well and good, but he wanted to let this moment last.

"I love you," Steve murmured. "Get in the tub."

The pizza would have to wait.

Tony grinned, shimmying out of the rest of his clothes to join Steve. "Now I hope you're not planning anything too forward."

Oh, of course not.

"Nothing but an interest in personal hygiene," Steve promised.

"I am a very delicate person," Tony said, sighing as he slipped on into the tub. It wasn't burn his skin off anymore!

"I've learned that about you," Steve said, sliding in behind Tony into the water.
