Tony had promised to go all out for Steve's birthday and goddamnit, he was doing just what he promised.

He'd probably have to get JARVIS to not spill how much it cost, though. Yeah, that was going on the list.

But it was more than worth the view, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee while Steve finished up his usual morning marathon.

It was a good thing that he was holding Tony in place because that caused up to nearly buck up off the bed. "Fuck, I love your fingers," he babbled.

"Is that a request for another?" Steve asked quietly.

"Yes," Tony hissed, worrying his bottom lip with his teeth. "You always feel so good."

Steve added another, moving slowly. "You take it so well," he whispered. "Beautiful."

He moved as much as the position allowed--which wasn't terribly much, but still. "Yeah?" Tony sighed, closing his eyes to enjoy the fullness. "Could do this for ages and still never get enough of you."

"Oh, I'm planning to do this for ages," Steve said. "We have no other plans for today, right?"

"Nothing that comes to mind, " he sighed in response.

"Good," Steve murmured, moving his fingers deliberately.

Which made Tony whimper and throw his arm over his face, back arching and hips shifting against the grip Steve had on them. This was revenge for some slight, wasn't it?

This was Steve's idea of fun?

"Beautiful," Steve whispered, leaning down to suck on one of Tony's nipples.

Steve had cruel ideas of fun. Must be the Great Depression thing.

The noise for that was less of a whimper and more of a surprised shout. He gripped Steve's hair tightly, pressing up to encourage him to continue doing that.

"There," Steve crooned. "Just like that."

"Killing me, Rogers," he grumbled.

"In the best way," Steve said. "It'll feel so good when I finally let you come."

"You promise?" Tony asked, letting his voice drop into a lower register, one that held all kinds of equally interesting promises.

Steve shivered involuntarily at that tone. God, Tony. "I promise, but I'm up for being corrected if I don't live up to the hype."

"I'm entirely in your hands," Tony promised, giving a toothy smile at his reaction.

"Those might be some of my favorite words," Steve said, smiling back.

"More than the words 'please' and 'Steve'?" Tony asked with all the innocence he could muster in this situation.

"Not more than those," Steve said, tweaking Tony's nipple with his free hand, "but they tend to come before them--"

Don't say it, Steven.

"...and you come after."

Tony laughed, head tossed back like he couldn't handle him. "Oh my. Captain Rogers, you've become quite the tease."

Steve blushed, but looked pleased. "You're an excellent influence?"

"Tease me, darling," Tony replied, stretching his arms up over his head to sprawl out for him.

It was a challenge and the smile on Tony's lips made that perfectly clear.

Steve kissed him quickly. "Hold onto the headboard and don't move," he commanded.

"Yes, dear," Tony breathed, shifting against the bed a little in anticipation as he did as commanded.
