Apartment Above Stark Industries, Valentine's Day

There wasn't a massive stuffed animal or way, way too many flowers waiting for Steve in the apartment this year. If only because Tony had learned his lesson about those. Kind of.

He hadn't learned his lesson about making reservations at places that Steve could never, ever learn the real price tag of.

And there were still just a few dozen roses in hiding for when Steve finished getting ready to go. Look, he was doing his best at being restrained here!

"Mostly when you're not trying," he added scratching his nails gently down the back of Steve's neck.

Steve shivered. "I'm mostly not trying," he echoed, dipping his head down for more of those scratches, please.

"See? Charming all the time," Tony murmured, voice dropping into lower timber as he kept that up.

"Your voice is a menace," Steve replied softly.

"I can be quiet if you want," he teased.

"I didn't bring a gag for a reason, love," Steve said, kissing him between the eyes. "I love your voice."

Tony hummed, carefully loosening Steve's tie enough to unbutton the top of his shirt. "Gag's only for when we try out the Effiel Tower."

Steve laughed a little breathlessly. "Are you wearing it, or me?"

"Whoever is too noisy," Tony replied, making it sound very much like a challenge.

"You testing me, Stark?" Steve teased, voice going deep.

Tony hummed happily, shifting closer on his lap. "Always."

"I love that about you," Steve murmured sincerely, nuzzling Tony's neck.

"You'd get bored if I didn't," he replied, downing his wine so he could wrap both arms around Steve in a tipsy little slump.

"I never, ever get bored with you," Steve said, finishing his way too expensive to chug but oh well wine as well so he could hug Tony more tightly.

Who didn't want ridiculously overpriced drunken cuddles?

"Aren't I lucky?" Tony murmured, kissing his neck.

Steve let out a soft, contented noise. "Maybe a little," he teased.

"Very," Tony replied. He pushed Steve's jacket off his shoulders in order to run his hands over them.

"You really like this suit, huh?" Steve asked, smiling softly.

"Correction," Tony said, kissing him firmly. "I like you in this suit."

"Seeming like you like me out of the suit even more," Steve said, getting rid of the jacket but keeping the Iron Man tie on.

Tony hummed in appreciation, kissing him again. "Gorgeous."

Steve's cheeks went pink. "Glad you like what you see."

"You dressed up so nicely for me," Tony continued, voice dropping low again as he trailed his hand down the tie to pause low down on Steve's belly.

Steve shivered slightly. "Well, I like when your eyes go all dark when you look at me," he admitted.

"Oh, so you planned for this?" Tony asked, kissing Steve's throat like a distraction as he pressed the heel of his hand down to rub against Steve's crotch.
