JARVIS and the Mouse overlord had pushed some older movies up into Steve's List of Things to Watch to Understand Tony's References. Though some of them may have just been added because healthy levels of strife were good for the soul.

"Couldn't we watch that new Space Battles show?" Tony asked, concerned for Steve's taste levels here.

"You seem real remorseful," Steve agreed, laughing at him.

Tony sighed, slumping back on the couch. "Bath. I'm sticky."

Steve grinned smugly. "Yeah. You liked that."

He finally got up off the sofa. "Bath time. Give me a minute to get the water going, then come on in."

"I liked it immensely," Tony replied with a grin all while ogling him.

Steve slowed down a bit as he walked away because even though he was blushing about walking through the house naked, he knew Tony liked to watch.

Tony was a pervert, Steve knew this to be true.

He stretched for a moment, back cracking a little before he got up to join in the bathroom. "J is already ordering us a new couch."

Steve laughed. "I love you," he said. "Thank you, JARVIS."

"It's going to end up covered in plastic," he teased, kissing Steve on the cheek.

"Getting some really uncomfortable thoughts about the couches in some of the older ladies' apartments when I was a kid now," Steve teased back, squirting in some bubble bath.

"I'll protect you from the old ladies," Tony promised, hooking his arms around Steve just to keep close and warm.

Steve smiled and kissed him between the eyes. "My hero."

"Only the best for my fella." Actual sugar daddy Tony Stark.

Steve's smile got wider. "Get into the water, sweetheart."

"Don't let me brain myself," Tony replied, carefully doing as he was told.

"Never," Steve promised, watching just slightly overprotectively.

Tony sighed as he sank into the warm water, carefully keeping his head above the bubbles. "Perfect."

Steve slid in behind him and rested his head on Tony's shoulder. "Hi there."

Which relaxed some of the tension that started to creep in just a little. Because Steve could be trusted to keep him up. "Hello," he whispered, kissing him on the cheek.

Steve rested his hand on Tony's hip, hoping it was reassuring. "I left a bit of a bruise back here," he said, kissing it.

It very much was!

"I'm only upset that I can't see it," Tony replied with a lazy grin.

"Mmm, good thing JARVIS has it recorded, then," Steve murmured, resting his head on Tony's shoulder again to sort of hide his blushing.

He took a deep breath to inhale the smell of the bubble bath: sandlewood and bamboo, something he'd gotten for Tony to make the water feel a million miles from Afghanistan.

Tony smiled to himself, relaxing fully against him. "I hope you enjoy watching it," he teased.

"I'm thinking maybe not as much as you will," Steve teased back.

Tony smacked his shoulder gently. "I'm allowed to enjoy watching you. We've established this."

Steve smiled at him and kissed his nose. "Sorry."
